Motor Town:Soul of the Machine

If I'm honest, the first few levels were great. But it seems the further you play the more boring it gets. It's like the developers just couldn't be bothered anymore. I payed for the full game and really wish I didn't. Wish I could get my money back.

It's OK. Worked fine on my Asus ZenPad. Graphics look nice enough. But the gameplay is kind of boring. No real story, no exploration, few simple puzzles. You're just picking up items and doing HOGs, basically.

It's awesome when you try the trial but then when you buy it, it resets your game and you have to start from the beginning. Boo. Finished the game and it was a nice well done game. However, it seems like they sort of rushed to get you to the end as well.

I expect a game to work when I buy it. I'm stuck at the hippie van and have a dragonfly and tin can. The hint button stopped working and I've been to every scene. Nothing! You're tricking people into spending their money, knowing full well the game doesn't work! Carry on tricking people and you'll lose customers! I wish I didn't buy it and want my refund

I really enjoy playing this game. The only thing was being interrupted every 2 minutes to rate the game. That was a little irritating.

Excellent graphics, smooth gameplay with an engaging storyline (although a bit thin in places). Loses a star for not having an interactive map for navigating, short length and no bonus chapter, all of which other games I've played for this price had.

It's dark, gloomy, boring and has touch screen issues. Also, expert mode has way too many 'helping' hands, arrows, circles, pointing gears, pointing fingers, blinking lights etc....

Controls in HOG and puzzles were good, some required double tap or long press... graphics were quite good and allowed you to see all the objects... storyline was good (will update this review when game completed)... so far have had to restart twice due to corrupted profile (game restarts at beginning each time).... Like the fact that once you have finished an area (like a drawer) it won't pop up again if you touch (helps cut down on random poking)... this is one game that could really use a map (actions to be done here) as 2/3 of the way through a lot of backtracking is required... finally finished... had a few "game unexpectedly closed down" but the game did save the position so just slightly irritating... ending was good (though not unexpected (G))... the game is playable more than once... finished with no hints, now going to try expert (memory test)... all in all, a solid five with the exception of no map (as the profile corruption did not recur and the save and exit performed flawlessly that issue does not seem to be a coding error). One more good item - You can put this game in your family library so you can share and one more bad -- the game cannot be stored on an SD card (I have a Tab S and was surprised at this as the coding to allow it is not that hard) so if you are tight on internal storage (game is 200 meg) this may be a deal breaker. Almost gave it a 4 based on this but left it at 5.

The game is super addictive, however it has only one disadvantage - it's too short. But I think that for that price we're receiving good piece of stuff :) Major advantage? Graphics! Only animations could be better :)

I really like this game. I would love to finish it, but I can't figure out the code for the locker. I have rotten mobile support, but have gotten no help. Given me the code and the rating will go up.

Flawless game. Not one glitch anywhere. It was refreshing to get through it with no problems as seems to happen so often. The story line, difficulty and entertainment level were awesome. I would say this is the best alawar game ever.

I get a couple of hours into the game and it starts to flicker and say corrupted profile restart the game. Once bitten twice shy. I'm uninstalling and trying a different company.

Paid money and I can't get past the front door. Please will someone tell me how to get past the damned front door? Don't waste your money ...

Exactly what I hope for in an adventure hidden object game. The innovation of highlighting words in the h/o scenes when the object is actually on your screen in ingenious! Thank you, once again, Alawar. Please keep them coming. 2013.

I liked the puzzles and graphics were good. It didnt quite enthrall me like some other Alawar games have but still enjoyable.

If it hadn't been for the fact that I had to go back and redo the whole game to get the six candles I would rate it five stars.

Great game, but after I closed it and reopened again, it informed me that the profile is corrupt and I have to start from scratch. That was a bummer...

Great game with hidden objects and puzzles to solve cheap price

Desperately needed an interactive map. No bonus round ok for £0.79. The locker code was inaccurate but knock one off each stick set and there you go.

A fun Detective / Mystery game. Now nothing really wows me anymore, but I still know good qualities when I see it. So I give the Motor Town five stars.

Good graphics and story line. Several mini puzzles leave you clueless.......

It was a good game, so I purchased! I wished it had a map. Also at jukebox it wouldn't let me place button on it. Good thing I was able to skip it. The locker code was ridiculous, so I had to find cheats on line. Thanks to the person who gave #. When I looked back at the journal and compared it to the answer, it did not match up at all. Otherwise this game would have a better rating.

Keeps resetting my game. Don't waste your money on this game, you can never complete it :| alawar, I refuse to buy any more from you,not after this. Thanks.

Had so much fun playing this game. I highly recommend it. Not hard but still challenging... great graphics and storyline. It was worth every penny. Thanks to the makers and please keep them coming. Looking forward to them

Love Alawar games. This one is nice and long. So far only got stuck on the locker combo. Worth the money

Only one thing wrong in the game so far the vw bugs trunk was in front not the back

Shonda-- Honey, the code for the front door is in your journal. When you pick up the paper from the grate, it doesn't go in your inventory like other clues since its considered information, rather than an item. You should always check your journal before giving up on an HOG and publicly declaring it broken.

Fun time puzzles range from easy to kinda hard al in all good time.

It's becoming common place that these games seem to be "corrupted" and erased anymore. It makes me wary of spending the money and time on them.
