Motor Town: Machine Soul Free for Android
Even though the hint button recharged slowly, I enjoyed the game. Great graphics. Hated to see it end. Loved the hidden objects (but I usually do in any game). Story line OK. All in all it was a very addicting game. Had to skip some of the puzzles because I didn't know what was wanted.
My only complaint is that it's too short. I hope that they make a sequel to it. Or a second one. Whatever. All in all, it's a good game and the great part is that I paid nothing for it. I downloaded a couple of apps to get it free. Too cool! Wish all developers did that.
The option to download an app to play for free is broke just like it is on most of their games. Don't waste your time if you cant pay. Its also more expensive to play the free version and then buy the rest than it is to buy it on the appstore.
Everything was going along smoothly, no bugs or glitches. I paid the 2.99 to unlock the full version, and suddenly, it just goes back to the main screen and I can't get back to the game without buying it again! This is the first time I have ever had a problem with a game purchased from Alawar. ***Update: I contacted Alawar, and they fixed the problem immediately. Thank you!! :-)
I am really loving this game! The graphics are excellent. Hidden object scenes are clear, even on zoom, and slightly more challenging than some games. Story is good too. The hint button is very useful and it's good to have some instructions for the mini games. This is my first Alawar game and I'm very impressed! Will be trying more. PS: have just tried to play this again and it says I have to pay/use credits when I already have! Really annoyed!
though some of the mini games do not have sufficient hints in the game other than to have to use 'brute force' method to solve. I also deducted a star due to a bug around payment which the developer sorted for me. Even though it did mean restarting the game about a quarter of the way in. Overall first class game play and enough to keep me interested for a few hours.
Nice graphics. The setting is a kinda moody-Erie urban decay. The game play is nicely divided into hidden object scenes and mini games. It's a fairly large area you're exploring, so it stays fresh as you move on in the game. It's only 2 bucks for the full version. My only negative is that i wish some of the mini games were explained a little more thoroughly.
Very well written game except for three minor flaws. 1) it crashed on me once during play and 2) Using the bottom of the screen for going back makes it difficult to click on objects near bottom without being sent to a new screen 3) On a couple of puzzles the markings were so faded or small, it was impossible to figure out the puzzle so reluctantly had to skip. Overall a great game worth playing.
This game was cute and fun. A little different from the other games by Alawar. I still loved it though it was a little shorter than I'm used to by them. Still had fun playing it. Hope there will be a sequence. Their HOS always gets me, I can usually find most of their objects but there's always that one that I just can't find. Smile!!! I think I used the hint button in this one more than the other games I've played. They really hide their objects well. And I love that about their games.
Unfortunately, for some reason The game wasn't able to connect to WiFi even tho there were no restrictions on my data or my WiFi so I wasn't able to download the addition apps that let you unlock the rest of the game for free. :'( rather than that the part I got to play was really great!! Better luck with you guys!!
I've played almost every HOS mystery, strategy game (Android mobile) there is, from 20mb - 1gb, and this game was right up there with them. Of course the graphics don't compare but I've seen some that had ALL graphics, not much game play and loaded with glitches!
Lots of similar type games out there (even by Alawar), but this is the real thing. Perfect mix of puzzle, point & click exploring, collecting and using items, all wound up in a beautiful graphic experience with an interesting and unique storyline. Keep your sound up, great sound effects!
Entertaining, puzzles not that difficult to solve. In order to play full version you need to pay. Option to earn Getjar rewards to continue on to next chapter for free is blocked. Some bogus error message appears saying you need to have Internet connection every time you select option to earn free credits. And yet Internet is perfectly fine and working for the option to purchase the game.
At first I wasnt sure about this game but as I started to get into it i really enjoyed the details and all the different mix of games and finds. It was well done and worth the money. I hope Alawar keeps making games like this one for $3 thanks!!!
Ur games r good but I don't like the fact that they r not free some of the them, and some of them have to many adds poping up on them, and I play one of your game got the right amount of coins and I still didn't get to play the full game I don't like being lied to'i want I'm full play as promised thanks dinah.I down load three games as they ask me to do got 75 criedts no full game boo.
Was loving the free trial so I decided to pay to continue. Then it just stopped working. Feeling ripped off! Fix the bugs so I can finish the game I paid for or refund my money please!
My only complaint is that the game wasn't long enough. I finished in a few hours. But it was fun and the puzzles are good, not too easy or too hard. Great graphics. Since I only had to download 2 apps to unlock the full game, it was totally worth it.
Ive brought the full game but everytime I close then go back on it keeps asking me to buy the full version again! Please fix this problem! Other than that it is a great game!
Oversized ads which hindered gameplay, as well as no option to unlock for free. The "unlock" page wouldn't even load. I finish these games too quickly to pay money for them,
Unlike all the other puzzle games you don't have to spend your own money. I believe you need 80 points to download the whole game, so that means you have to download for apps / games. It is addicting and fun, I recommend this game.
Already purchased the full game, now I cant get any further as it says I have to use credits to unlock the rest!!! Very disapointing. 5 stars if fixed.
Alawar does it again. Nice story line. Good long game except there's no bonus chapter. Lip syncing sucks but English is obviously not native tongue of game. Colors beautiful. Game somewhat disjointed. But worth the money.
But very good game play. Lots to do, only hidden object scenes repetitive the rest is all different and multi-depth locations. Graphics are good music is fair. Not the best out there but definatley worth the £1.97 it's keeping me entertained for quite some time.
I really liked this game. I found myself stuck on the combination to open the locker at the end (3841), I just googled it after seriously trying to figure it out. Hope a sequel comes out!
So far it is good but I had a hard time understanding some of the mini games. Also, it just wasn't as good as some of their other ones but I only played the demo.
Its not 2 hard nor easy its challenging but not rocket science. It was worth my purchase w/my Getjar points
Said it was Free, Didn't specify that you actually only get a free demo. I don't buy unless your honest and straight with me.
I restrict the majority of apps from connecting, in the background, to the internet. This app regularly, and incorrectly assumes that I haven't purchased the game. I then have to turn on background data, restart the phone [Sony Xperia], restart the app then switch off the data again. The answer of course could be to leave the data on, but I am opposed to the idea that a game must connect in the background. Once I have downloaded the full file, no further connection should be necessary.
This has been a really good game to play, with lots of hidden objects, collecting stuff and mini games. I bought the entire game about halfway through and feel it was well worth the £1.85. Just sad that I've come to the end of it - I'll have to find something to replace it!
My only complaint is that it's too short. I hope that they make a sequel to it. Or a second one. Whatever. All in all, it's a good game and the great part is that I paid nothing for it. I downloaded a couple of apps to get it free. Too cool! Wish all developers did that.
Thank you for another great game! I have spent a crap ton of $ on Alawar games, and other ones like this one. What was great is to earn credit, instead of spending my money, I was able to download apps to earn the full game. I hated that the hint button took a long time to recharge while doing the hidden object games, but isn't that the point? And each hidden object was much much more challenging. Plus, I wasn't done with the game in 2 or 3 hours, like a lot of other ones. Keep up the great work! I'm a fan, and will continue playing your games.
Very good game so far. I was happy to spend 3 bucks for it. The artwork is beautiful, almost photographic in places. Story is pretty far fetched but let's face it, that's true of most of this sort of game. It is more interesting than most that I've played. The only thing missing IMO is a map for navigation. Otherwise I'd give the game 5 stars.
It was quite easy but the locker had me stumped for a while a clue to anyone who gets stuck there ignore the lines that go across they don't count in the number for the locker near the end
I couldn't get into the game because of several irritating interruptions/factors. #1: I barely entered the house when I was asked to rate the game. By the time I went upstairs & unlocked the bedroom door, I was asked 3 times to rate the game. #2: the return back directional arrow is WAY too close to the collected items task bar. I kept hitting task bar when I wanted to go back, n vise versa. #3: tweak down the hints; let the player look n think, n use the hint button before giving hand n pointer icons as hints. I like to look, get the ambiance of the game. All these things did was prevent me from feeling the role of the main character. Tweak the game some, n I may try it again sometime.
There were just too many HOS, but at least they were interactive. Desperately needs a MAP! I also thought that the puzzles were a little too easy. I'm not sure why a return to previous scene button was available when you could just press the bottom of the screen, which was annoying when you wanted to open your inventory, because you would go back a scene instead. However, I did like playing it and thought it was worth the money, even though there was no bonus level. I think I would recommend this game.
Everything was going along smoothly, no bugs or glitches. I paid the 2.99 to u lock the full version, and everything was going along smoothly until suddenly, it just goes back to the main screen and I can't get back to the game without buying it again! This is the first time I have ever had a problem like this with any game I paid for! I expect more from Alawar. Am highly disappointed. ***Update: I contacted Alawar, and they fixed the problem immediately. Thank you!! :-)
Decent game. However I'm really annoyed with the "unlock" feature. 25 points per chapter, 40 for 3 chapters, or 80 for the whole game. Well after 3, you have to pay again. But you don't know how much of the game is left. And either I'd have to pay 50 if there is more than 1 chapter left, or pay 40... just in case. So I paid 40. And in less than 10 minutes I was done the game. I feel a bit ripped off. Especially since there wasn't even a bonus chapter. :/
This game REALLY needs a map. And I felt like I was pushed into some mini games before I knew enough to solve them. Still fun, though.
This was an all around good game. The puzzles were fun but not to hard. I enjoyed the story line and the different characters. I also like the the fact that I was able to install other apps in order to unlock the game. Thanks for making it free for us poor people!
