it was a good game. But I agree with another comment that without the map I would have gotten lost and forgot what I had to do next. I would have give a highet rating but either the puzzles were too symplistic or not clear enough.

My main issue with this game (and many others) is that when you choose "difficult " level the game still says "oh you need a hammer" I wish I could remember the few games I played that on difficult you had to figure everything out, I mean to remove hint button doesn't make it harder. After purchasing a game I feel obligated to play even at a child's level.

Would love to play a heroine version like this! Overall this game is awesome... Just a bit laggy and a the plot makes the characters look stupid.

I can't play! It never goes past the initial scene, just the horse's hooves and then it stops and blaackscreens. I've uninstalled and reinstalled 7 times, reinstalled Google play store, even waited the next day to see if it's a bad WiFi connection, but nothing has helped. I would like my money back please. It's a shame really because I was really looking forward to it! I even installed the free game and tried to unlock the rest of the chapters, but it said it couldn't restore my purchases!

I REALLY enjoyed this game, kept me going for a few days. Bonus chapter really good but the real bonus I'd that it only cost me £1-55

The game is beutifully designed but going from one seen to another was a bit slow. The graphics are amazing!! Also, from time to time the game frose. All in all I loved it!!

Gorgeous game, all details perfectly done, music, graphics, good amount of HOGs, puzzles and mini games, map with teleportation, bonus chapter, objects to collect, no bugs, just wonderful!!! I am very pleased with this purchase!

Clumsy slow interface, with not enough feedback and forgiveness.

I have only played a part of it, as it is so boring. Story not engaging. Graphics uninspiring, think overloaded fairy tale illustration. Mini games so far frustratingly boring. Sound bad. Lagging a little. Dissapointing after playing Weird Park 3.

Waited all day to play it and dang thing wont even open!!!

Seriously. There were so many places to go that without the map, I would have forgotten most of the things I had to do lol.... which is good though. I like games like that. Cons: forgetting about those potions on the left side! ! And occasional lag when clicking things. But other than that: decent graphics, great storyline, soothing music haha, handy map, many locations, plus a cute animal sidekick! Another win for Dark Strokes ★★★★★

Waste of data. Tried to install 3 times. Only installs half way. Want data and money back. Almost 2 G WASTED trying to download. Others be warned....really takes up to an hour to download and then stops before being downloaded fully.

I enjoyed the story, and the game. I did have issues with stopping, and having it go to blue screen, just music more than once. I am on a Samsung tab 4 Nook. I found I had to shut down the tablet, then turn it back on to get back to the place I was. Still like Alawar the best, but would like the issues fixed. Lucinda.

I can't even start to play. It goes to blue alawar screen to load but doesn't load. I am not happy at all, I usually get free games so now I paid for one that will not even load. What a ripoff.

Update: Game now refuses to attempt to download. I've been trying to download the rest of the game with stable and fairly quick WiFi connection, at 3mps. It keeps saying that the download failed, regardless of how fast the WiFi connection is. I've downloaded other games that had a larger file and those downloaded with no problem whatsoever.

I put it down several times to do other things. The really great games I ant put down. Sound effects/music/voices were buggy in beginning but cleared up eventually. I bought on sale, so no regrets. But wouldn't have wanted to pay full price.

Great game beautiful as always. Frustrating movie scene wouldn't close unless tapped repeatedly.

I liked this game very much. The graphics and storyline were great. The game played very smooth, no glitches. Very much worth the price. The bonus part of the game was really good too. I definitely recommend this game if you enjoy getting away from the real world once in a while. It is a cute fairytale. Well done.

The game was lovely. Cute twist on fairy tales. Graphics and music was great. Only problem is game is very mildly twichy and glitchy. Completely worth the price for game quality and length. I loved it.

I paid for this game to play the full version. It doesn't work keeps crashing won't even let me play the game at all!

I usually don't have any problems with Alawar games but this one keeps crashing. Please fix it for a better rating.

Gorgeous artwork, fun and original mini games. Would have given 5 stars but I experienced some minor graphic bugs with alpha card seams appearing over charcters heads and was unable to exit the keyboard when nameing the lynx ( had to bring up task manager to fix it) and when exiting the slide projector I had to hit the X multiple times in a row to exit ( tried many times hitting it once with no luck) Love the direction this game is heading in and with a patch or two this could be a stellar series. Again , minor complaints that do not effect gameplay that much, just a minor annoyance.

This is a top quality game but I can only award it 3 stars for a 7" screen. I had to skip a lot of the fun of this game, or carry around a magnifying glass. I absolutely recommend it for any larger screen. It also takes up a massive amount of space.

It's incredibly annoying when you're trying to move to something else and you first have to unclick an inventory item. I wish I'd noticed it earlier, I would have gotten a refund.

Good story line. Very slow to maneouvre items and hard to pick up certain items.

Brilliant games deserve a 5 star rating love the stories and the puzzles should be more games like these dark strokes 2 is better than first a lot Moe exciting and better puzzles and graphics but still loved both

Excellent, now this is how to keep people buying and playing your games. It keeps you interested, good story line, fun mini games, definitely one of the best games I've bought. Worth the money.

Good game spoilt by slow change of scene action , and when I'd done playing for the night didn't save and i had to start it all from the beginning again , such a shame .

It was a ok story line. The hint butter could of showed up more.

Even though it was a paid game, I throughly enjoyed it. The only issue keeping it from 5 stars is the length. The game was to short for my liking.

Awesome game with high quality graphics and cohesive storyline. Good mix of mini-games and HO searches. This one is a keeper.

Would have been 5 stars but no map in bonus game. Lots of backtracking. Over all great game on sale.
