Not bad. Doesn't compare to other similar games like this . Story line seems like it was written by a child, nothing special in the HO scenes but for the price you pay it's still entertaining enough to pass the time!

Having played another one of their titles I knew what I was getting into. Expect lots of fetch quests, cheesy dialogue and about enough content to fill an afternoon or two.

The plot was enjoyable but this was one of the hardest games I've played in this genre at times finding objects is time consuming. When attempting to use objects I would have to press multiple times for it to work which would make me second guess my option and end up wasting more time trying to find other ways to solve it. On the inventory list I would click to find out what the name of the object was but I couldn't "unclick" so I'd have to press the screen more than once to remove the selection.

Really enjoyed it. However, as others have said, it is an awful lot of going back and forth. I much prefer their other games where the map shows you available activities and brings you there. In any case, I'll definitely be getting more games from alawar!

As most of us realize, these games can be hit or miss. This one is a hit. Good graphics and interface, decent puzzles, and storyline. Price very reasonable as well. Alawar, generally, puts out quality stuff. I recommend this one.

Enjoying this game, got all the way to the bonus chapter and there's a bit where you have to dial the safe- I know the code but the dial won't go past 6! So the number 8 I need is impossible to get....and so I'm stuck....no option to skip, so I'm a bit annoyed I can't finish the game, but have enjoyed it until now.

Good story, beautiful locations and lots to do. I'd say these puzzles are slightly harder than most of these games but they're not too hard (and there's always the hint button if you're really stuck). Quite a long game, plays for hours and then when you think you're finished, there's a lengthy bonus chapter too.

I loved the story great artwork and fun puzzles. the only thing i didn't like was the map and lack of a navigation tool. also they hardly spoke in the game which is my favorite part. i enjoy watching the video clips that talk and interact with you throughout the game... Other than that the price is right

I am really enjoying this game but there is a bit much going over the same old ground. Now I am stuck at the crane and can't seem to figure out how to pick up the crate! Is there a secret? Should be able to skip this part. Overall, nice graphics and good story.

This is a really fun game. Not too easy, not too hard and the best thing after paying a small price fo the full game, no in app purchases! I really enjoyed it. Well done Alawar, I'll be buying Dark Strokes 2!

The bonus game should not be last. Once you finish the full game and get to the bonus the tale has been told, but, alas...I didn't write the story oe design this game. Gave it ★★★★ instead if ★★★★★ for this very reason. It is a good, entertaining game and I won't reveal any more. Enjoy...must have liked it enough though...playing it again!! ha

The artwork is beautiful, the puzzles are fair, the story is good (not great, but then again, few stories are) and the cutscenes are well done. Though the voice acting could of used a bit more work, the game is definitely worth the asking price.

I loved this game. Amazing graphics and the story was decent. I did have to use the hints and strategy guide a little more than I like to bc I kept forgetting where some places were due to the back k and forth needed. Great price tho!

Still, I can say that I enjoyed it, on the whole. The HO's were good but there should have been more & varied mini-games. Also, I had to be frustratingly precise when attempting to use a lot of the objects.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game and can't say many negative things about it, except for three minor things. The HOS could have done with some interaction and the map was just awful. It only shows you where you are and I could have really used it to tell where there are things to do. Apart from those things, I would recommend it and I'd say its worth the money. You do get a bonus level, although it is a little short. Could have done with more and harder puzzles too. Nearly 5 stars!

Finally got to play the game! The only thing I had a problem with is the bonus chapter should have been a prelude to the story. Instead, it felt like an afterthought. Good game, otherwise.

The game got incredibly easy after the free trial part ended. A lot of back and forth tween scenes... Not hard to figure out. On the plus side it is very long. Good for young adults or the novice player.

Cannot get past the crystal ball in the house. Cannot press the sequence. Disappointed. (Update) got past that bit. I didn't like having to go back and forth so much. A map that brings us to the location would be good.

Nice story. I think it was too time consuming with movement that didn't seem to make sense. Some of the puzzles were a nice challenge. HOG were not very hard but didn't I didn't love the graphics. The bonus was good.

I had to refer to the strategy guide more than I usually like to do in a game like this but it really make the game a lot easier. Other than that small fact and I would be giving this game 5 stars.

Loved the game, some puzzles were a bit difficult to figure out, yet I spent approximately 9 hours beating it plus the bonus game. I am a bit slow, but I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Lovely graphics. Brilliant puzzles. BUT it is very convoluted - almost impossible to remember where to go without needing to use the strategy button. Map doesn't‘ allow jumping to locations so way too many back and forward moves to collect inventory items. Became disheartened when it was obvious that you need to know which chapter you were at to use the strategy button, but there‘s no way to tell so had to arrow through the lot to find out! Such a shame.

Samsung Galexy Tablet Game visuals too dark. Have my brightness up to max. HO to dark. Had to ask for hints which I seldom do. Had to restart game to change to casual as hard to see. Could not find a way to change during game. Map is a joke. Seemed like a lot of keys needed. If you play, make sure you move screen up and down in scenes . Play a lot of big fish games on pc and tablet. Always good. This one boring

After playing the game, it stops in the middle of what you doing. Goes back to the main menu. When you press play it goes back to the main menu unless you're lucky enough to catch the skip button in the top right corner when starting. Way way too buggy

It's ok I guessbi moved faster than the game the hint button continues to tell you to move on and you don't have the proper equipment but it was cheap

I really liked this game alot I didnt have any problems with it. The story line was good the graphics were good I have no complaints at all

Like this game..great graphics good story line heard complaints about the map it's not that much of a bother..over all great game..I bought this one and I've bought some others by this company and have really ejoyed them all.. keep the games coming

This is by far the best Hidden Object I've played! Story line was superb with wonderful ending. The balance of puzzles and finding the hidden objects I thought was just right. Graffics were good. Only thing would have been a better map. Thanks for a very enjoyable game!

I love HOS adventures, and this is a great example of the best of them. One spoiler, however. It was really very difficult to see some of the objects in the HOS. I blame the small screen on my phone, so it really isn't the fault of the game, hence the five-star review. But it is something to consider before buying this game.

Beautiful and clear graphics. Good storyline with a twist. Lots of puzzles. Those are fun and not difficult to solve. You have a zoom function for the hide-and-seek-puzzles. After purchase you'll get a main-game and all the Collection Edition extras like a bonus game, concept art, sound tracks and video-clips of the game. I have finished the whole game without any bugs or problems on my GOOGLE-NEXUS 10 tablet. This game is well worth the money.☺

Actually don't know if I hated it or liked it. It's kinda hard to determine that when you can't play the game.

Definitely one of the better mystery games that I've played. Puzzles were fun and difficulty was just right. Some hidden object scenes require interactions between objects, which made them very satisfying to solve. Very good value for the price, especially considering there's an additional prequel story chapter that you can play. The story was nicely developed and intriguing. Highly recommended!
