Cruel Games: Red Riding Hood

After playing 100+ HOS games. (I have a hard time finding games I haven't played because I've about played them all! As long as there's NO TIMER OR EARNED ENERGY TO PLAY! ) It had a teleporting map and cute plot but.... No hidden collectibles, no hidden morphing objects, NO strategy guide, NO bonus game,etc.. so though it's cute, not worth over $.99 - $1.99!

So many better titles from this publisher. Buy Paranormal Pursuit, The Lake House, or either of the House of 1000 Doors instead. Crude graphics, repetitive HOS, facile puzzles and weak story with a meaningless ending. Alawar is usually much better than this.

Just enough story line to make it interesting. No long story segments where you sit and watch which I think is great. Mini games were not difficult. Overall the game is not very hard, but it kept me engaged.

Why does it keep quitting... I have had to start over from the beginning. It keeps going back to the title page...very irritating!

Loved it. The story line was really good but way to short. I hate just getting into a game then bang it's over. Overall I really enjoyed it. Keep up the good work

The greatest games are the ones with real storytelling, like grim legends 1, Enigmatis, Brink of Consciousness (a real blood curdler!) . They are modern classics and show how it should be done.

What's the point in having an expert mode when the magnifying glass gives the game away if there was an option to remove this I'd give 4 stars and not all object fit on the screen if rectified 5 stars.

Lots of hidden object scenes which I love. Only thing I dislike is that dang magnifying glass.

I hate that even on "expert" there are constant magnifying glasses pointing out active zones...

The length of the game is exceptional. There are a lot of locations and puzzles. Luckily theres a map that shows you where to go as it alot of back and forth. Most of the puzzles were way too easy. The storyline could've been more in depth. Overall though, I did enjoy the game and do recommend getting it.

I play a lot of these games and this was average. Not much storyline but good graphics. The magnifying glass a pain...would rather look for objects myself as it was misleading. Overall, it was worth playing but not very challenging

I was super excited about this game, I love a challenge, but this game does everything for you...like, if you touch one of the items in your inventory, and you're near where it goes, a magnifying glass shows you where it goes. Its always bringing up stupid magnifying glasses for you to follow. Boring boring boring.

It's fun and has a good story line. The only thing I don't like is that there are items that are too close to the hint button and I kept hitting it and the journal button when the items were at the bottom of the screen.

Not one of Alawar's better games. The story line was all right, but the interface was a real pain. I had to keep tapping to get anything to register, and the lag was annoying. Played it on a Nexus 7.

I wanted to like this game. But there are so many problems, I wound up deleting it before finishing. First, it's supremely bad design to hide objects behind a rather large hint button. Are you really hiding an interactive object behind a major part of the UI? Accidental clicks are common. Second, you're carrying around "anti-rust" spray but could only use it on specific rusty items. Why give us a spray to use when it doesn't work on all rust??? Dumb. Third, interactions were very buggy. For example, the "special key" needed in the elevator did not work at all. That was the final straw and I uninstalled. Do you guys QA this?!?

Enjoyed playing this a 2nd time. It has a map to make it easier getting around and the mini games are quite easy too. Be careful of h.o though best to enlarge screen as not always easy to hit target.

How can you refuse this game at £0:59 including VAT. It's not the hardest game in the world but for the price it passes away the time nicely.

But I would've given 5 stars if there were more mini games and the games were a little more difficult.

Was enjoying the game until I got to the safe. Cannot open it and cannot even skip it. Game locks up.

I love it and I like how the story ended but it stops in some parts you gunna have to exit and start where it stop at but other then that I'm glad I finish it doe best game ever. I beat it in 2 days so I'll say it was long enough. But it was great

Cruel games...red riding hood won't download.....want refund..hate those games that I have to waste time trying to download...and they just don't. Very disappointed.....................

Very goog game. Good too and fro for clues. Puzzles a little disappointing could be a bit harder. Lots of twists and turns. Maybe a little more interaction with wolf. But like I said Good game.. well done keep it up..

A lot of hidden object screens (which didn't fit on my phone) and very simple puzzles. In fact some of the puzzles were simply to collect the right objects. The symbols on the map are tiny, but after 3/4 of the game I realised they tell you where to go next, which would have sped things up a little.

Spoiler alert: Great game with all the Alawar typical features. Nice map, good graphics, great environment and story. The only 2 negatives are the occasional freeze and the ending. A cliff hanger ending with no bonus chapters or sequel leave fans confused on what really happened.

Great visuals, easy to get into for casual playing and easy enough to be fun rather than challenging.

Good game from Alawar. + good graphics, puzzles, HO scenes. + long enough to feel worth the price. + Lots of back and forth, good navigable map. + good background music. - magnifying glass was very irritating. - No voices after first cutscene. - some puzzles were too easy, set so a few clicks would solve them. Some (e.g. scale) solved themselves. (??) - no guide or bonus chapter. - Ending was confusing. 4.5☆, rounding up.

I played through this game in two sittings. It was engaging and at times funny. The art work was well done. High marks for making scene s look dark but with enough brightness to be able to find objects. I especially like the ease of selecting an object from inventory. Good work.

I play a lot of games like this and think thay this one is just ok. The magnifying glass is incredibly annoying and I wish that there was an option to turn it off. I would have given this a better rating except that the game CONSTANTLY gets glitchy and then freezes when I try the safe puzzle. I did submit an error report, so if they fix this problem, I will modify my review.

i do not need a magnifying glass to show me where to look,at every scene,whats the point??? defeats the object of the game. ive basically paid for a walkthru. boring too

Kinda jumps around, but a very good game... REALLY ENJOYED IT! I've downloaded over 100+ HOS games. (I have a hard time finding games I haven't played because I've played them all!) So I know about games. This one had no flaws. Worth the money! NO ADS! That alone is GREAT!

Trying to stop it from downliading after i got my refund back tslk about still going. Tried to stop it but cant. Crap! And us ing up data in process

Great graphics & story. Ending was a lil disappointing, but not enough to ruin the game. Looking forward to the next game I play by these developers.

Their isn't instructions on how to play some games . items needed is so small u can't see them even on a tablet, and my light is all the way up. Then I have to press multiple times for items. Please do better

I love games like this and this does not disappoint! I especially like the map that allows for quick travel from one area to another as well as gives a hint about whether or not there are any tasks to do at that time. Thanks!
