The game is set in the not-too-far future, in 2050, when AI (Artificial Intelligence) overtakes more-and-more jobs, starting with mundane, toward the more-and-more sophisticated.
According to current estimates (e.g. published among others by The Guardian), 6% of US jobs will be eliminated by robots by 2021. ...now the situation is even more escalated in 2050...
The protagonist of the game, in order to find out what he/she should do, his/her calling, what job he/she should look for, what career he/she should pursue, and whether / how much he/she is "futurable", enters an advanced VR simulation, and travels to Summer City to travel his/her own future.
Futurable 1 - Summer City provides an unprecedented AI life-simulation on smartphones and tablets, where every character is a fully autonomous AI. Every character desires to survive and prosper based on its inborn physical and mental capabilities. In practice, every character (Non-Player Character) as well as a human player desires to enhance their own health, wealth, and cognitive- and social intelligence. Every character works toward that in the game, dynamically adapting to the player using the state-of-the-art AI technology developed at AIBrain Inc. I don't hate any of it. I think it's brilliant. I also think it's invasive because it will open a window to some unknowingly. I do know this has become a regular occurring part of media for a greater good. I hope that it's being protected as well. I would love an audience with its designers. There are some skill sets missing from your career requirements that I know would speed these future endeavors up a bit.
