Have you ever enjoyed playing the old Lucasarts & Sierra classics such as Monkey Island, Zak McKracken, Maniac Mansion, Day of the Tentacle, Space Quest, Police Quest, Kings Quest, Mean Streets, Pandora Directive, etc? Many companies had developed commercial Adventure Games for Windows, DOS & Mac/Apple as well as Unix or Linux.
More Adventure Games are being released today with improved graphics & hardware. Until recently, most of these games were available only for Desktop Systems. No More! Welcome to the world of amateur & professional adventure games.
AGS Stream is a UNIQUE market app allowing you to download point and click adventure games not found anywhere else on The Play Store or any Android Market App right onto your Android Device without the hassle of manually going into your devices storage and system files to do so. This will allow you to eventually play many games not available to you before. AGS Stream simply downloads the game and the software to play it, then installs it for you and allows you to just click on the game in AGS to play it. No non-sense. No Root. Just enable installing unknown sources within your phones settings & thats it.
We are trying to add all these games found here: http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/site/games/ that were not previously available on Android. These Games were made with Adventure Game Studio (AGS) by Chris Jones, a game engine available for free for use on Windows.
There are only a few games in the market at the moment, but more are coming. There are literally hundreds already available for Windows/Mac/Linux/Iphone/Sony PSP. A new list of Games will be added to the Market every 1 or 2 weeks.
AGS is a Game Making software which allows you to make Point & Click Adventure games for a wide number of devices & OS. The software is aimed at experts as well as new and aspiring game developers. Try it out for yourself and make a game for Android!

I love the AGS community, but unfortunately I'm really sad to say that this app doesn't work. I haven't gotten a single game to run on my Nexus 10. I hope it will get updated soon!

The stream idea is good, but all ags games work with the ags app downloaded when you first start this app up, so once that is downloaded go to bigbluecup and download away! ......and uninstall this! As it is now unnecessary

Every attempt to download a game fails. OK an update...I increased to 2 stars. On a Nexus 7, when you download a game you get no indication of what's going on with the download unless you pull down the notified action bar. Even then once it's downloaded you get an installation failed error. However, when you look in the 'my games' folder it has installed. This is extremely poor.

Great idea and would be amazing if it had been worked on, but unfortunately this seems more like a get rich quick scheme of a child with ADHD. Just 6 games have ever been uploaded and the interface is terrible.

This worked for four of the games that I could get to download now every time I open it it crashes! Can I please have my money back or fix this app looks like no posts past May of 2013? ? ? I will be reporting this issue hopefully it gets resloved

I'm using this on a Samsung Galaxy S3 (although not a tablet yet) and found one of the previous upgrades excellent, so keep up the great work! avast Mobile Security seems to prevent successful game installation. In an earlier upgrade, games used to download OK but avast (without being disabled) blocked installation, so manual unzipping of the downloaded (d/l) file was required. Unfortunately now, all games don't even d/l, even with avast disabled. I keep being told I have no space, even though I have 11GB!

Thanks for making this app available as I wouldnt have a clue on how to install the point & click games I used to love playing. Hanging out for Monkey Island though so would be awesome to see it appear on the list of available downloads. Not sure how you could make the downoads smaller but that would be awesome too. Rated 4 srars just because the downloads are way too large. Otherwise you get 10 stars for everything else :)

Games won't open, or crash upon opening. Promises of regular new titles also never appeared. If I could get a refund, I'd ask for it, essentially I paid to have multiple pieces of non working software installed on my tablet, at my expense. App also hasn't seen updates in months and appears abandoned. Buyer beware.

Really doesn't work on tablets, screenshots are either tiny or stretched horizontally across the full width of the screen making them unintelligible, its never once succeeded in downloading anything, I'm not even sure what it's supposed to do! not worth your money in it's present form

So far so good! The ui is basic but that's probably W.I.P. for some reason after downloading a game I can't return to the main menu and exiting and reopening the app just hangs it on a black screen. Just minor issue :) great job so far. R4L

The last update doesn't let me use the virtual keyboard when needed. In a previous version it was possible. It makes certain games unplayable. It's been over a month since your reply and the update is nowhere to be seen. I reinstalled a previous version I found on the ags forums in order to play resonance, but I'm still waiting. The version I'm currently using crashes a lot.

Asks me to allow installing APK's from unknown sources. Denied and uninstalled. Please fix it to bundle AGS rather than use facility for installing unknown APK. Uninstall and refund. It's real pitty since the games in the list are real good.
