World Geography - Quiz Game for Android
Reach level 15, you will have 119 treasure chests, 70 achievement levels, numerous hearts. The outlines of countries are hard to guess on because it does not look like any country listed. Sometimes the answers are incorrect. But it was fun anyway. A week of playing, I have a few suggestions, about hints, if you don't use them they just go away, my suggestion is if you don't use them they should be able to use later, when the player feels its convenient.
Although you can rank up only slowly, it gives enough time to get used to every new set of questions. If you don't use lives or hints, you can use them to save up for the matching map mini game. I am also convinced that an extension with seas and rivers, mountain ranges, valleys, plains.. Would be interesting. This game allowed me to know the world better, with little effort. Thanks
There are only two things I think would really improve this wonderful game. The first is sound. The sound of a correct answer being selected helps build intrinsic value and the sound of maybe native music or animilia would build a sense of either culture or connection. The second thing would be imagery. Seeing the capital and/or people in native dress would be super cool. Over all though this game is a fantastic way of learning geometry. Five stars.
Good game, educational but you tap to answer and tap to move on so it's easy to move on before you're ready and even answer the next question on accident. I would add you can unlock level 0 difficulty to not include aspects of quizzing when you level up, and a free-roam atlas where you can explore the map and click on a country to view it's information, something like that. Pretty awesome, but could definitely be improved. P.s. my previous rating disappeared, so i had to type this up again, maybe check with the app store to see if there's bugs or something.
We sent a 'complain' about a bug where the matching flags mini game ate our chests (500 of them), and they gave us back that same number of chests a day later. Thanks! We are as grateful as any serious player can be. Other than that bug, the game is super. Maybe in a later update they could add rivers and lakes, capes and peninsulas, that would be great. We play this in family and we love it.
I like to play this app It however does get stuck A LOT!! Maybe something could be done about that? I have an android and I can only play 10 questions coz with the 25ones it crashes within the amount of questions. And with the 10 questions it crashes every 2 or 3 rounds. I still like to play it though
Actually the best game ever. I've told all my friends and I'm obsessed with it. I'm actually learning and it's fun!! I wish I could find a similar game for math and physics and history. Before this game I was surprised at how much seafood was in Greece (d-uh, almost all islands????) now I can identify Nauru on a map!! I know where Guinea-Bissau is!! This game is fantastic!!!
Good educational game that is very fun to play. Some of the ancillary features/quest are a little difficult to understand what the point is. I wish I could zoom in on the maps, crest, etc to get a better look at fine details. I also wish it included major rivers within each country. Overall a good game.
I like how this builds in levels and gradually gets more challenging. Only thing is, I wish it had a practice and study section where maps are fully labeled with info included. This makes the testing of my knowledge in the games more enjoyable so it's not just trial and error and I don't have to go elsewhere to study it first. Other than that, I really like it. It's definitely worth downloading. :-)
All the rakings I don't get but otherwise this game is SO fun & addictive. It's also a great learning tool to refresh myself & the more you learn the more you unlock. I feel like some people put a lot of time & energy into this game & it shows!
I really enjoy geography and each day I'm learning more, by playing a fun game. I like the training section, it means I will always be able to get the answer. The ads don't appear often enough to be annoying. Addictive and fun.
Didn't realize the number of new countries in the world. Flags are challenging. At my point in the game do not encounter many questions on U.S states, Canadian provinces or Mexican states.
My favorite game so far. I suggest adding an info page explaining the methodology behind the scoring and leveling up for beginners. I don't mind ads, but scoring thousands of points by watching an advertisement? That seems a little extreme and contradicts the purpose of the game. Also, perhaps a section to connect with other app users?
A really fun geography game. The gui feels... somehow dated? I'm not sure how to explain it. It's not exactly bad but it reminds me of games I played 15 years ago.
Well, if you were trying to figure out some way to get people to stop playing this, you finally hit on it! The game used to be great, but now people are advancing up the ranks by getting points for watching ads!!! I paid for the game, but now I Have to watch ads, just to stay at my current rank! I love a little luck along the way, but this is ridiculous!!
Fun and fast moving. I like the training aspect. Not keen on the bonus playing and competition partly because I find it very cluttered and confusing to look at. Seems complicated.
I have traveled abroad, watch th news, and very much like to know where places are... especially when it concerns my friends in the military.
Its repetitive for a reason my brain is smiling at the world. Each and every nook and cranny and I can most likely tell you where that is and what it looks like in sillohuette.. Thanks for the smart fun...
Wish there was more focus on physical geography (Rift valley, mountain ranges, bodies of water, major cataracts, deserts, etc.) and less on maps. Have fun answering all the questions but not sure what all the arrows, levels, bonuses, etc. mean.
I love the training portion that goes back and reminds me of the right answers. Game is frequently updated with latest population & political information! New & fun features added periodically. Technical & information support is quick. I love this game!
I love it.You can learn alot from this game. But I just don't like to wait 15 min for a heart can you reduce it down to 10min or lower please? But it's still a great game.
Great game, but all the mechanics (hearts, medals, treasure chests...) are superfluous and unnecessary. They only add unnecessary complication.
There are mistakes in it. On population for example.some places seem too appear more often than others. The same with the type of questions. All in all its ok.fun geogame.I hope will be fixes in the future
Really good, we'll thought out game making you learn without you really knowing it. Just levelling up is a pain and unlocking further subcategorys is long
Great fun way to brush up on geography. Does an unusual good job of scaling difficulty, something that most trivia games fall flat on their faces with. There's an option to filter out specific question types which is because it allows the player to focus on developing knowledge on specific geography topics such as Flags or capitals before moving on to more difficult topics. Overall great app and look forward to what's coming in future updates.
It used to be my favourite quiz game but I don't want to get XP by watching ads. This is ridiculous!
This is probably going to be one of my favorite apps. I hate not remembering where every smaller country is and I can tell this will be my ADHD savior. Thank you ☺️
If i ever learn where my country is on the map it ll be thanks to you guys. Thanks soooo much. (European who acts like an american as far as geography is concerned).
Graphics are dated, but the fast pace of play keeps me from getting bored. Great test of geography without making me feel too dumb!
a great game, but I don't like the recent update which includes gaining points simply by watching stupid and totally irrelevant videos Five stars for the game One star for the ads, I hope this will be changed asap
Please also include country specific features such as production climate etc and also water bodies like oceans, seas, islands. other world specifc features relate to competitive exams which are more important than flags . Nevertheless its realy worth for practicing map reading.. my hearty thanks to the team. Keep going
This is a really useful game. My geography is terrible and I was looking for a way to boost my knowledge. So far it seems to be working, and the rewards help keep it interesting.
World's best Geo quiz app ever! There's not a better way to beat out your Geo skills in a competitive environment than this. Awesome app to learn and compete.
I enjoyed the game up until the USA got its own segment. The app is called World geography. I dont understand why USA should get preference.
It's a bit oldschool but 0 bugs or lagging or anything similar. Also, awsome for someone who wants to learn a bit more about the world
Good learner but I don't see how people score in the billions. They either don't have a life or have found cheat codes somehow. Discouraging.
A good game. Gets boring after level 10 or so though-seems repetitive and takes ages to level up. A good way to expand knowledge though.
Great game, I've learned a ton of geography. It would be nice if the encyclopedia allowed you to compare countries for a given category instead of only being able to view a single country
Needs freeroam atlas. A tad too focused on microtransactions. Too ugly for 2017. Yet good info and solid gameplay/progression

Well designed and difficulty increases at a good pace with new sections unlocked as you progress. Rewards and rankings help maintain interest. Only criticism is that it doesn't include a physical geography element. Personally, I'd find that more useful than some of the finer details that are invited - such as country moto, or GdP etc. Overall though, one of the best and most addictive educational apps I've come across.
