Word Shaker Free

I've played a lot of word games. This takes the proverbial cake. This simple innovation of the ability to change the time alloted and the size of the grid has changed the name of the game that boggle had first set over a decade ago. Bravo devs, you didn't take the 'Innovative' route such as I don't know...a cookie. Anyways, all that and the cherry of being able to shake the board three times while resetting the words used already makes this game the shiznit

I really like how you can customize the size of the board, and shake it to get new configurations a few times. I used to be addicted to a boggle game that was only half as much fun. It had a lot of repetitions as well unlike this. Finally, I enjoy how it gives a ranking among all players after you finish each game. Highly recommend for fans of word games, you won't find better fun on your phone.

Great version of Boggle! I don't mind the adverts, but I wish they weren't so noisy. It would be great is the sound settings applied to ads as well, or the ads were automatically mutes with the option to turn sound on, rather than the other way around. Advertisers should know how off-putting that really is.

While I expected ads, some are very intrusive during play - not very nice. Only real quibbles: some dictionary inconsistencies, and wished there were more sorting options on the leaderboard... Oddly, this version is better than the paid one (diff device).

Love the game and find it very therapeutic. However, I'm not interested in the timed game, I just love the joy of discovering the new words. Is it even possible to get 100% on the untimed game? Could you make it possible for that game to have at least one shake? The therapeutic value is lost and turns to frustration when I see so many words that I cannot complete because one or two letters are a block away. Other than that, it's a great game!

It's Boggle without the loud shaking! It's great that both the timer & board size can be changed. Ad times are short (5 sec), unlike other games, which make you sit through a 1/2 minute video. This is a fabulous way to pass time!

This game is pretty good. I settled on this app after trying a couple other Boggle games because it doesn't try to infiltrate your social media accounts and because it doesn't have annoying in-game currency and purchases. I like how you can change the board size and time limit. My biggest complaint is that the GUI could be more responsive.

I love this game and would keep it but it keeps freezing up mid game and closing. When I reopen it's back to the game before last and there's no way to continue. Done this 6 times in the past hour, possibly due to ad issues but I don't know. I would have kept it otherwise.

'Tis addictive. Especially a good game for if you've any cognitive impairment. So, if you happen to know anyone with such an issue, do be sure to recommend this particular app for them; if they're anything like me, they'll want to play the crud out of this every chance they get. Indeed. It is that addictive. Good riddance; it's like Tamagotchis all over again!

I love playing this game I find it quite addictive. Though I do have a problem, I'm not sure whether it's a problem with the app or with my phone itself. But if I get 9000 points or above the app crashes and closes down saying "unfortunately word shaker has stopped". I do find this rather annoying as I like to see what rank I get, as I'm sure many people do when you feel you've done well, but most of the time I can't.

I liked Boggle & have missed it. Was happy to find a similar game. This game is great, easy to play & great sound. It does need a way to cancel a word when you make a mistake. Sometimes it'll just sit there & do nothing & sometimes it will pickup the wrong letter.

Getting really sick of all the words aps going into downloads while I'm in the middle of playing games. If I wanted to download other aps I would do it on my own. Im about to delete both words with friends and this one. It happens too often and is super annoying!

I love this game but every time I get a score over 9,500 on the 7X7 30min, the game crashes and it doesn't post on the leader board. This has happened twice so far and It sucks because I would be first on the leader board both times. Will provide screen shots if inquired.

Let's me stop a game I'm not enjoying and start a new one. Accepts more words than some other games. And all valid words count...not just the subset it wants.

I understand the need for ads and I WAS liking the game and ready to pay for ad free version. That is until new ads started that overrode the silent settings and blared out sound in between games. Lost my trust. Deleting and off to try other apps.

Pushes the brain cells. I really like this game. I am not sure why it doesn't allow for more expansion of the blocks and the scoring is often inconsistent and fails to provide a score. When I have attempted to change the size of the playing area, I am always given a message that a larger size is unavailable.

I have enjoyed Boggle since I was a child and so I was really pleased to find this ap. Having played several games I noticed there were many words that I didn't find, but couldn't , it took a while to find out how to view these. You can view the list by tapping on the score at the side of the board. Having now found this out I realise that many, any I really do mean a significant percentage, of words are not in the dictionary and I cannot even Google most of these to find out what they mean. Apart from these many mystery words it's a great game. Apologies if this review is jumbled, the keyboard won't let me see what I have typed. Ml

The colors are awful, make my head hurt and i can't look at the screen for long. Otherwise it's great, so i wish i could play for longer

Great game. Simple and challenging. Stable app. The only thing to be added is meanings of words in the report, so that you could check the meanings of the words you missed. I imagine many players are not native speakers of English and this game could be a way of learning new vocabulary.

Great mind game, smart way to spend 5 , 10 or 15 minutes. Only thing is there are alot of words you can make that don't seem like real words. Maybe there yanky slang???

Just like boggle, which was what I was looking for. I usually play a 5x5 board set for 5 minutes, challenging but big enough I am usually still finding words when the timer runs out. If I want it is simple to change the board size or the timer. I can even play untimed if I want to see how many of the words they say are there that I can find. Overall, a relaxing game that I can play if I only have a few minutes. Also, very easy to start a new game after finishing "this last game"!

Its a good boggle game. However, it would be better if it rotated, if the word was spelled on the screen and if you had levels. I do love the timer and that it tells you how many words are in each puzzle and that it gives you a ranking when the times up.

Great time filler. Good for memory and really works your word skills. Overall good game...But way too many ads which become annoying even for patient people. I raised my opinion of the game. This a good play overall. The ad problem is less annoying. Basic in this case is good. Good job, thanks for a good game.

it's challenging for a while. it can get boring and tired, so more graphics may h ell.. have blocks move or have something chasing u.

Challenging. Almost addictive. Some of the words are so unusual that you can't berate yourself for not getting them. But not noticing words you know but failed to see is galling. Hope to train myself to improve.

It worked well for the first few days, but now I can't even start a game. Instead, an error pops up staying "Unfortunately Word Shake had stopped working." Annoying.

This could be one of the best Boggle-type games, with its clear graphics, responsive GUI and big-grids options. But it's tedious having to restart rounds over and over to get playable grids without "dead", consonant-choked areas. If the developer isn't interested in improving their letter-selection algorithm to make layouts more playable, could we at least have an option to choose the vowel-to-consonant mix?

For the most part, I like this game. Things they need to add/improve: 1) I need to be able to pause! 2) Thinner drawing line. It wastes time when the line keeps nipping the wrong letter and causing a misspelling. 3) Letter pop-ups while spelling/highlighting the word.

It's fun to play and keeps me busy. I will continue to play the game. I only have one problem, some of the words that I know are in the dictionary are not in the game. Please update the game to which the words are up to date. Thank you for your time.

Great game that doesn't take up a lot of memory, keeps your mind sharp, and can be played almost anywhere to pass the time! Flashback to my years in the 80s playing Boggle with anyone willing to play w me!

Great game but now it has added so many ads with loud noise and you have to wait 5 seconds to x them out. Love the game though. Is there a version I could buy without ads?????????

My favorite game and totally addictive until you are killing your best score and can't spell quiet. Them you realize that you can, it is just spelled qiet according to the game. Only really frustrating part. Otherwise I love it.

Basically, this game is too fun to put down. It is addictive! The bad news is that since I discovered it, I'm not getting any housework done...or my checkbook...or anything else...

This game is really enjoyable. I like the fact that it keeps my mind thinking. The only problem is I have a lot of Google pop ups I can't get rid of.

I really love this word game! I love having options from the size of the board to the amount of time. I just wish there were unlimited shakes because it's impossible to finish a game if I can't make other possible words..

This was a fun game until I tried the 5×5 grid-- then the app stopped, & won't let me log on! Complained a couple days ago, to no effect. Uninstalled.

When the market removed the Hasbro version of Boggle before I got my tablet, I was so sad! I'd steal my mom's tablet to play! This game is the closest version I've found. Good words, different puzzle sizes to choose, simple animation, easy to use. The only thing I'd like to see different is to add the option to replay a puzzle if you want to.

older versions weren't as pretty but weren't as obtrusive. menu button gets moved just as an ad loads causing more fake clicks. full screen ads show up at game ends, sometimes with video and sound.

So many ads come up while playing the game!!!!! In a ten minute game I get taken away from it for an ad at least five times! So stupid I've downloaded the version that costs and gets rid of the ads but the cool features on the free one are not on the paid for one!!!!!!

This is my favorite word game EVER! Lately in the middle of my game it leaves my game and gives me a million pop ups that take me Google play store for things i don't want when it goes back to the game as soon as i start to play it pops out of the game again. I have forced stopped it a few times and uninstalled and reinstalled 3times i am obsessed with this game please help me fix this if possible! Thank you...Catherine...Florida
