Vast Space Yonder

This game is my life I no longer go outside I just sit here and play it thank you for making it

You need to change the color palette of the ingame objects in order to make a better distinction of each object. After a while shootable blocks, collectable diamonds and tan aliens just become a muddled mess of brown. Same with the background. Try making things pop out more, and make the background less distracting.

Delay in control response makes game way too hard. Dont like "game over" every 2 seconds.

Great job. I really like the classic shooter feel of it. The graphics really add to that. The soundtrack and gameplay are good but i would like the bullets to deal more damage and for there to be more powerups.

The controls are pretty responsive and the gameplay can get pretty addicting. The sound effects are a nice touch. The game is kind of hard though. I couldn't get past 200 score or get past the first level. I think the speed needs to be slowed down a bit or make the bullets do more damage. The way it is now, if the block you shoot at is more than halfway down your screen, you'll just ram into it :p. So with a few tweaks, and maybe add some kickin' music, the game could become even more fun. Great job!
