Forged in Battle: Man at Arms for Android
At first it was way too easy, but that doesnt last long. Some of the forging minigames are clunky. The grinding one in particular, it feels like the touch detection is off a bit on it. But good fun and well worth the price so far.
I have been playing this game for a couple weeks and find both the fighting and forging aspects of this game to be lacking. As far as the fighting, it consists completely of quick time events and quickly gets boring. The forging mini games are not well explained at all and because of that, it is hard to know what exactly you have to do in order to get full marks. The only reason I played as long as I did was due to my loyalty to the craftsmen at AweMe on Youtube.
I'm enjoying the game, but there are a couple of glitches that are a little annoying. Parts of the UI will get stuck on the screen and don't go away.
Fun is hell. Gets pretty addicting. Only thing I can think of that gets annoying sometimes is that doesnt always register your swipes. Sometimes I do perfectly won't count it. Other than game works awesome.
There are some glitches and it's aggravating how I can get so many coins but almost not raw material.
Love the overall game, but hate that it has no replay value. I have maxed out everything, so now it just kinda sits there, not doing anything. Update it please! More levels, more in depth forging, anything!
It's great a whole lot of fun but it's just a little buggy on my Note 4. Sometimes the little display that shows how much gold you have stays stuck on the screen. But you just have to back out of the game and come back and it's normal again.
game is very fun. so far only ran into one glitch where meter kept going rather than level not ending but not a big deal since game doesnt rely on energy etc
Has potential however they really need to do some bud fixing i mean its like they havent test it at all however it is a fun game when it works right which is rare. Please fix the following issues 1. Some time the levels glitch out and you keep runing after the level has finished and the only way to stop is to quit which means you have to start all over again also the wepon stats glitch and stay stuck at the botom of the screen
The controls really need improvement after looking through other comments this is a common problem. I love this game but the control lag costing perfect score that are required for certain unlocks is really upsetting.
This game involves lots of grinding to level up the weapons, and the way upgrades is done is amazing. The only bad part is that you need to do the same battle constantly.
Half way through the game and it's really bland. Only a handful of weapons that do all the same damage. Not really worth the time to play
A few little things here and there that spoil things. Particularly things like how finicky the been as battles can be. I get some graphical glitches every so often too, but that could be because of my cheap phomlne.
It's a fun strategic game. There's a small glitch where the previous screens inventory follows through to the battle scene. But I'm sure it's an easy fix, so that's why I'm keeping it five stars.
There's no replay value... I spent 3.50 on this only to finish it and that's it. Sure, keep grinding the same levels, but I've maxed level stars and weapons. Kinda feels like a $1 game after its all said and done
I absolutely love this game! I've wanted my own forge and workshop for years, and this let's me pretend that I have one until I can make it a reality. However, the game is not without it's faults. It's quite buggy and I sometimes get a blank screen while playing, and I have to restart. This happens often. It is a newer game so hopefully things will be fixed with an upcoming update. But again, a really unique and interesting game for blade nuts like myself, or anyone who is interested in blacksmithing. ☺
Great game , not insane but plentiful with mini games , especially with the forging, made me smile and also fuming when I don't get the perfect haha, sound effects are good and smooth graphics. Keep making the videos !! I watched them all lol
You see, the problem is that I spent 4 days completing it, only to see it pretty much dies off. But the thought of making the weapon your using is awesome, but could've been better just to make a more realistic sword smithing, the better you are at making a sword the better it is.
was really looking forward to trying this out, and was happy to see it could be refunded with in an hour if i didn't like it. It crashes if i attack, and i tried to refund but as soon as i installed the refund button disappeared... very unhappy.
I do like the idea of making a game that also involves blacksmithing to give your weapons a lot of upgrades. The number of levels and weapons do seem like a significant ammount. But the only detriments in this game that I can't ignore are the delayed controls, shoddy optimization, and unresponsive qte's. But the gameplay itself is okay!
This game is exactly what I want from a runner. Its not just upgrade your character and get farther it requires you upgrade your weapons as you gain the resources to do so. By doing that it gives me a sense of motivation to keep playing and discover new weapons.
The game in itself is a good idea but little things need fixing for instance I'm trying to get perfect scores on all the levels but is near on impossible I swipe In the direction 3 times on bosses and it still doesn't pick it up and I get hit.... Everything this happens.
I love the game however I'm only giving it four stars because I keep getting a glitch where when I finish a level in the Shogun area it keeps going after the victory screen
But there were some bugs, first time it ran it froze a lot, second time it wpuld just continue running even after finishing the level. (Note 5 user) keep up the good worl guys
Had only a few problems with this so far, but the Man At Arms guys went out of their way to sort it, so +3 stars for that. The game is addictive as heck, you spend a while grinding for materials, the mini games for blacksmithing are pretty cool. This game had a solid concept overall, I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a solid time killer. Just don't expect to get much work done after this game. ;D
There's the occasional glitch where the UI from a menu remains when entering battle. Otherwise great game
This game is so fun except for one thing. On the final level of Germania there is a boss battle where two actions have to be made at the same time. The first action registers just fine but the second action never registers and the character dies.
I have been playing this game for a couple weeks and find both the fighting and forging aspects of this game to be lacking. As far as the fighting, it consists completely of quick time events and quickly gets boring. As a fan of the shoe MAN AT ARMS: REFORGED I have to ask, WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE, superb game and simplifies and encompasses the blade making process so mere mortals like me can appreciate the extremely difficult work that is blacksmithing.
Very well designed and plays well, just a few things that annoys like the ennemies being shot towards the screen making it very hard to see the others right after him, and the shield enemies, you really don't see their weapon since it's on the other side of them. Those smaaaall points aside, really enjoyable. Great take on the runner style
Very cool how each loading screen it has something said from the episodes and general forging facts. Game play is simple to get around and the mini games for upgrading your weapons are fun. The problem im having is that i dont have enough gold coins. Otherwise 10/10 ggwp
Really fun game love the mechanics, really really fun side runner and the weapon upgrade system is really unique and cool. There are a few bugs i noticed where the games screens kind of overlap. its just the materials that overlap and you can get two screens at the same time and sometimes the two screens will remain up when in a mission. The worst overlapping screen i had though was the red from the defeat screen overlapping not only on the mission but during the forging as well obscuring my view.
It is a fun game full of intense action and fast pace decisions. With great graphics and cool weapons to choose from. However for 1.99 I was expecting more playability. I was finished with the game with all levels being perfect and all weapons maxed out in little under 6 hours. I was saddened to see it be over. Yes there are glitches but those can and probably will be fixed. What I'd like to see is more story, more levels. Also having to buy 2 of the weapons is a little upsetting
This game is easy to pick up and play. A great feature is not needing a Wi-Fi connection to play. The forging minigames are pretty cool and the fighting is simple, yet, you need to develop the proper timing. It's challenging and easy....a great combination that makes a great game.
Simple runner with cool weapons and different enemy types. Forging weapons and upgrading them is almost as fun as playing the game itself. An interesting take on the interactive crafting system.
Well made runs brilliantly on my device. Lots of fun
Great game. But needs more work on the campaign scores and the forging exp the score is not matching with the exp bar.
The game is fun, adictingly so. The elite enemies sometimes need you to swipe to attack and I've sat there and swiped 2 or 3 times and it still doesn't register.
The game its self is amazing but all the one of a kind weapons are simply astounding

I have the same issue as Pablo Damasceno, same phone. Freezes when you hit the blue button. My PC probably won't freeze when I find a refund button though...
