HeliPilot

HeliPilot is a game that uses the tilt of your phone to steer the helicopter. Whichever way you tilt the phone, the helicopter will accelerate that direction. Score points by landing on the helipad, or lose points by bouncing off the edges.

A note on controls: pushing the stick on real helicopters will cause the aircraft to accelerate in that direction, just like this HeliPilot app. Hovering a helicopter is very similar to trying to use the tilt of a board to keep a marble inside a circle painted on the board. As you can imagine, this is challenging; you have to slow the aircraft down before reaching the helipad to be able to hover over it.
