Robo Crosswords

When i opt for my Native Keyboard i lose the ability to drag the puzzles up and down. Also, it would be great if we could select multiple puzzle for deletion.

Puzzle UI is top-notch, but the NYT downloader does not work anymore (probably due to CAPTCHA on the Times website now). Also don't like that it downloads so many puzzles when you first run it, especially since the only way to delete them all is to long-press and select "Delete" on EVERY single one.

Nice simple design, can download puzzles from different sources (including, with a subscription, the New York Times). Works well if your network connection is intermittent or slow.

Last thing needed when solving a clue is to forget it because you have to struggle to put the letters in to the right square cells. The control keys for these clues are poor

Easy to use with the ability to adjust controls. Can chose more or less difficult puzzles. Love this app!

NYT Xword often fails to download. Ugh. Otherwise great.

Greatest variety of crosswords/difficulty levels, control over settings is great. Favorite crossword app I've found. 2 years, 3 phones, near-infinite access to crosswords. Quality product and way better than literally every other crossword app I've tried. Worth digging through the pile of apps to re-find.

This app is the perfect solution if you enjoy a daily puzzle but don't already get a paper. You can get a nice assortment of crossword puzzles ranging from easy to punny. ;-) I like that you can download the puzzles for offline play while I'm traveling and don't always have an internet connection.

One of the best apps. Fantastic in its simplicity. Used to be Words With Crosses but Zynga got all high and mighty and demanded a name change since they're idiots. Anyway, I adore this app, it's absolutely fantastic.

Great app. Sorry you had to go through something as trivial as the name of your app. Reminds me a bit of when WWE was sued by the World Wildlife Foundation when they were still known as World Wrestling Federation, like anyone would confuse the two.

Pretty good app. After deleting a completed puzzle, it would be nice if the puzzle list WOULD NOT snap back up to the top of the list but stay where I am in the list.

It's reliable. What more do you need?

The best crossword app I have found. One of the first things I download when I upgrade my phone or get a new device. Simple, ad-free, with a responsive developer to boot. 5/5 for being consistent these past couple years.

No other crossword app even comes close! Simply the best.

Wall Street Journal no longer downloading as of Feb 13

This is the best of the crossword apps out there, with many sources (though they are from the USA which makes it tough for a Brit), a simple interface, decent keyboard, and it's stable. Unfortunately, it's registering touches in the wrong locations since I altered the DPI on my Xperia Z3 to 400. No other apps have this problem & I can't think what else would be causing it.

Best one out there. Since Android Nougat, though, auto-rotate causes the app to crash when a puzzle is open, not saving the progress on the puzzle you were working on. Bug report sent.

Love it! Multiple crosswords, lots of options! I could be making this up, but it feels like the puzzles range in difficulty, too. So easy to play!

Crashes every time if the screen flips, losing most of the completed entries. Not really keen on re-doing all the puzzles.

I had the app, it kept saying that it stopped responding and erasing the answers. I reported it, got no response. Uninstalled it, reinstalled, but still doing the same thing.

Simple and steady. Fantastic crossword app for everyone. Enjoying puzzles from folks I've never heard of before.

Does all I could ask for and more.is really Great with new York Times.

.I can no longer use the deletebackspace key when I need to go back to a previous entry to correct an answer. Would be nice to fix that.

I've solved all the ones I like,but it hasn't updated since early December. Please fix.

I used to be able to download crosswords from previous dates, but the app won't let me. I don't know what happened, but it needs to be fixed.

I've used this app for a while. I've always loved it and still do. I bought a new tablet and noticed it wouldn't let me download previous days anymore. I emailed the developer and he responded. He informed me that this is an Android 5.0 issue. If you're running 5.1 everything should work. Sadly, I have to wait for Samsung to update my device.
