VR Karts: Sprint for Android
Game was fun and I wanted to purchase the full version. But it continually keeps asking me to exit VR to "set up a Google pin", which I've already done about 6 times. Just keeps looping with this and making me create a pin over and over. Not sure if this is an app bug, or a Google bug, but unfortunately I guess I won't be purchasing the game..
Looks fun, steering completely unusable. Spent 10 minutes trying to figure out the trick. Just when you think you've got it, turning the controller left makes the car steer right and vice versa. The programming for the accelerometer, at least in my original daydream, is very off. Would change review and play if this was fixed
I'd give 5 stars, but... The save still have problems, please fix this, it's incredibly annoying... You're loosing retention and users and the chance to have a lot of 5 stars. Everytime I close the app it resets the progress and I have to start tutorial again... Edit: Even saying the problem was fixed, I tested it again with the newest version and the problem persists, everytime I close the game I have to play the tutorial again, I'm playing using a Moto Z, if you need more info please let me know.
Really good fun, minor motion sickness lasted for about one lap but found myself smiling while playing this. Will pay for full version and hopefully they'll iron out any issues
Update: Not working on LineageOS. Many other Daydream apps do. Probably not entirely your fault. Will change to 5 stars if fixed.
FRAUD - Crashes everyone before I can even get through the tutorial laps which they don't let you skip - asked Dev for refund and he just responded asking for a bunch of details - they wouldn't even refund me
Looks like it could be fun. However, the controls are horrible.
I would have given it five but I don't know if it's just me but I am having trouble finding multiplayer games
Will up rating but game does not retain progress. Paid for full version. Have to play training every single load.
Not able to see two stream. Only single stream so can't use it in viewer.
Steering is awful not even 5 mins and already lost interest
Super fun. Good graphics and fast paced game play. With this game, you can't go wrong.
Requires daydream to work...
Works perfectly in my s8 it's a blast to drive. We need more games like this in vr,, the ones where we can keep playing and playing.
An incomplete game, hard to say what final product will be.... hoping this isn't it.
Plays similar to Mario Kart. Immersive gameplay, and reactive controls.
Good game, decent graphics, good controls
I get in a loop trying to buy this app
Its control when you bump into the competitors still do not smooth but the item use and gameplay with Daydream's controller works really well. I really enjoy this game even it's just 1 stage demo. Also, feel very little heat compare to other Daydream app.
Great kart battle racer with surprisingly accurate tilt controls. I haven't paid for the full version yet, but the multiplayer has me tempted. Haven't encountered the tutorial repeating issues others have reported, but that doesn't mean they aren't present in the full version. I haven't gotten sick, but it definitely gives me the stomach turning feeling of being on a roller coaster at times. Not sure what optimization could be done to fix this, just an observation.
Paying the $5.00 is worth the extra maps and slight customization, however there is a problem I keep running into. Every time I launch the game it makes me go through the whole tutorial again which is very aggravating. I've gone through it three times and played other maps after it but I'm still forced to do it every time I close the app and open it again. Perhaps someone can point out a reason why, if someone can clear this up I would give a much higher review.
Lags pretty bad, needs optimization or updates. Not fast enough to not enduce nausea. Great start, just needs some TLC
This app signed me up for a ton of spam email from "partner apps". NOT COOL! The game itself is pretty good though.
Paid for the full version but every time I reopen the game it fails to remember my progress and I have to start over again. The game itself is great but this is an annoying problem.
Pretty fun overall game but the controls are a little annoying the steering is good but not a fan of how the weapons work
The steering is not good , I couldn't play the game because I am unable to direct the car , enhancing steering is a great idea for now , all the best
Very immersive. Easy controls. Would've loved more attention to detail. Ex: wheels turning when you turn.
I got really sick trying to play this game
The game is really good but I don't want to buy the full version yet as I don't know how much the game is.
The game and all is fine, but I bought the full game to play the multiplayer, only problem is... There is no one to play with... Litterly no one is on.
Makes me dizzy!
Playing with the Daydream VR on my Pixel XL the game looks great. I had no issues with the controls and driving felt similar to Wii Mario Kart. Obviously not as polished, but fun nonetheless. The downside is that my phone gets way too hot. Even with no case in a relatively cold living room, my phone gets almost untouchably hot. It feels dangerously hot. Not to me, but to the components inside the phone. For that reason alone I don't recommend playing this game more than a race or two.
As an introduction to VR racing, it's pretty good and the fully functioning side mirrors make a big difference. Poor controls, graphics, and multiplayer server function loses it a couple stars.
Fun and simple game. My kids love it.

Really fun game! Controls are intuitive and it's quick to get from the menus to racing. As a VR game it's pretty immersive. I really like the how all the menus and summary screens are layed-out. Overheating is a problem, but that's hardly something the developer can address for every phone/headset. Otherwise I didn't have any of the problems people described below
I can't change my name, multiplayer doesn't appear to be implemented yet, and if your phone gets too hot, the game slows down so much its unplayable! When it's running at full speed, it is pretty fun. But all the paid version gets you is a few more tracks and the ability to change your kart's colors. It feels like it's lacking a lot and incomplete. I sorta feel ripped off.
The game is a one track demo with purchases required for more. I do enjoy the thought put into being first person perspective, such as looking down and not being a disembodied head for once. The controls are easy enough but it feels very vanilla driving. It is not clear how weapons work, and you are often punished when driving what feels like a tight corner, but clip some invisible curb which slows you to a stop. An OK free experience to show VR but not quite good enough for a purchase
Controls were backwards there was no tutorial, just driving into walls. Update: Tried it again and it explained the controls and it works fine. I sure need some practice and maybe some motion sickness drugs.

This game is only a demo for the full length game which you have to pay for. The game place how it looks like it would play. It's a racing game where you drive over floating things to pick up special one shot weapons to slow down the other players. Steering is done with the controller. Moving your hat allows you to look around while you're driving.
