Tsuro - The Game of the Path for Android
Fun but if there was a way to randomise which player starts (when playing solo against AI) would improve things. Going first is a big disadvantage
A little buggy (crashed a bunch, had to reinstall), but worth it. It's beautiful, meditative, and as challenging as you want to make it. Simple to play, but requires strategy and foresight.
Didn't think they would be able to do it, but it's as fun as the board game. I'd like them to update the ease of flicking through multiple games - but for sheer fun that doesn't detract from me wanting to give it a fully deserved 5 stars. Got it for 99p on android and it was free on iOS today. Would be worth a fiver at least, as long as you have mates to play.
Great game! There was a bit of confusion with continuing a game but we worked it out.
Seems fine but don't want to be constantly bothered with Facebook sharing. Also can you make this start faster please? For example by dropping your animated doce logo. Thanks.
Great adaptation of the board game. The only thing is the lack of overhead view. The spaces in the far corner can be hard to see. Add option to change the view and it earns all 5 stars.
Can't get the game to work! After an hour I was able to challenge my friends, but I am not able to see the games we are playing. This means I am limited to playing only locally on my phone. Not why I bought it!
Worth it. There's not enough turn based online multiplayer games. Support the devs. Don't complain about Facebook integration, it's the easiest way to allow multiplayer across both Apple and Android since Apples game servers refuse to open up for non Apple users. One complaint, when continuing a game turn, allow the intro animation to be skipped
This app does not work well. Frustrated with getting it to connect with players. Menus are garbage and do not work well. It's a shame because I love the physical game.
Uses Facebook for online play. Uninstalling game because of this. Thought I would be able to play with friends, but if Facebook is required, neither me or my friends will be playing. Sad that I had to be the one to spend money on the game to find this out.
Its fun enough for a time waster. It doesn't have a hot-seat option (that i could see) wich is a big let down for a 'board game'. Would be great to see a 'of the sea' version..
I am confused how anyone is rating this so highly. It's a 2D game that uses Unity or Unreal, and takes a ridiculous amount of time to load (and don't forget the unskippable THUNDERBOX intro every single time you open the app). The Facebook multiplayer integration is buggy, and after spending loads of time trying to simply get a game going, the animations and loading times have made this incredibly infuriating. This wonderful, peaceful board game in app form has made me want to throw my phone through the wall.
The game as a whole is ok, and fun to play. However, it needs a proper online multyplayer mode. It's frustrating that you can only play online if you alow facebook access or google play. Via google play you can't find people to play with. As a whole, the game is very good, but the online capabilities are a huge dissapointment for me so far.
It's just boring, and there's not a whole lot of strategy, it's almost pure luck. Basically just sit back and watch the game play itself because your choices do not matter. It's just tic tac toe for more than 2 people.
The pieces are very dull and hard to differentiate. No idea why someone thought having them so unsaturated they are practically indistinguishable was a good idea. Otherwise game play is alright. Only real complaint is how slow it is for the computers to take their turn.
It's a fun time killer that makes you think about the every move. I love this game because it's like a board game and a puzzle game all in on. Being able to play with my friends IRL using one device is a major bonus. I might just suggest adding a difficulty on the AI npcs along with the com types to add further difficulty and more solo playability.
A faithful and entertaining portable version of the now classic tile laying game. Solo AI is fairly challenging, hot seat is available, and online multi-player works. Although Facebook integration is the main focus of multi-player, unless I am just being dense the none Facebook multi-player is a tad more limited but still functional. Hopefully it will eventually offer real time multi-player over the internet without Facebook.
I love the actual board game. Playing versus the AI is decent. My biggest gripe is that they went for the skeuomorphic UI approach (aka tilted "physical" board) which is always the worst option as it makes half the board awkward to view. (Hint: Hearthstone broke this terrible design patterns by finally following logic with a top-down approach). Also, why does the tutorial feature Greek mythology for a Chinese-themed game?
Relaxing game with strategic planning. Different AI difficulties and play with friends. Wonderful digital version of the board game, WISH the board was straight not angled, meaning the far side is hard to judge your path! Fast to learn, hours of enjoyment.
I saw this game on tabletop w/ will Wheaton from the geek & sundry channel on youtube and thought It would be fun. Didn't realize that there was a digital version until I was looking to different game (which isn't here) but I saw this for a dollar and said YES!! this game is very easy to learn and addictive and so much fun. Now I just need to get the actual board game ;) lol. Get it you won't regret it.
Been playing this online for a while now, with friends in Facebook. Multiplayer version works fairly well, aside from one thing. A game started bugging, showing tiles and stones in the wrong places and not allowing us to continue. We tried to abandon it but whilst we can start new games, we cannot delete this one. Adjusted the rating accordingly as there seems to be no help online on gow to fix this. Previous review: Awesome strategy game. Easy to learn. Hours of fun.
I dont like that you can't completely turn off transitions. It slows down the game play considerably and it's frustrating. Other than that, great game. Exact replica of the tabletop version with some added gameplay versions.
I love it, though I wish the whole game could some how be pulled up between moves faster. Each time you downsize the game it has to load the whole thing. It just feels like it takes longer to load the game than it does to make a move at times.
Online doesn't work. Don't see my boards in the game, click on requests from my friends and it just shows me the main menu. Opening animation takes way too long for no reason. Can't play multiplayer with my friends online. Waste of money.
Well designed universal interface (no words) that is fairly intuitive. A great mobile version of the board game. It appears that it won't work without Google Play Games, but it does - you can just cancel the prompt.
This is one of my favorite games in my actual board game collection, so having a digital (portable!) version is really cool. I also like that this app tracks things like how long your path is and how many loops you make. The one thing this app is missing, though, is a way to zoom in for a close up view of sections of the board. Also, sometimes the player name placard obscures the view of the top left squares of the game board. I'd like to have the ability to either remove the placard (maybe swipe it to collapse it?) and/or be able to drag the board around for better views.
A great taster for the real thing. I love the unboxing at the start and the AI levels are good. Control is easy and the chalky paths look really clear and add to the game's appeal. My only minor gripe is not seeing your own tiles between turns so that you can plan ahead. A very highly recommended app.
There's a lot to like here. The gameplay is simple but addictive, the music is great and adds to the relaxing experience. It's aesthetically pleasing and stands true to the board game. My only issue with the game is the multiplayer function. This game in my opinion is heavily reliant on multiplayer and geez I found it difficult to get a multiplayer game going. It could do with a chat function as well. In saying that it's a no brainer for the price and am enjoying considerably.
I have never heard of this game but love anything Asian and the look of this had me intrigued so I bought it and am so glad I did. Easy to learn, easy to play but gets you thinking and planning ahead your next move. Have played it every night since downloading. Thanks for a wonderful game!

I own and enjoy the physical board game, and this is a very good representation of the original. The AI opponents are reasonably smart, and the graphics are beautiful. My only (minor) complaint is that the game is occasionally choppy, lagging for no apparent reason. (I have an Nvidia Shield tablet, so it's certainly not a hardware deficiency.) Also, I have not tried Multiplayer, so I can't comment on that.
If a paid for game needs to be online you should make that clear before purchase. Otherwise detect offline status earlier to avoid startup of well over a minute!
Multiplayer still BAD. So far I've encountered 1 other player and since I chose a game for more than 2 players it won't start. Check out Le Havre and Patchwork by Digidiced to see how multiplayer SHOULD be done.
Haven't had a chance to test out the multiplayer yet, so this is exclusively regarding the single player, but I am impressed with visual and performance quality of this game. I love the physical board game and was initially turned off by the higher than usual price for app games that I download, but after seeing how much care went into the animation as well as the controls, I am more than satisfied. I have had no lag issues and the game runs very smooth for me.
Excellent adaptation. Too bad that there's no AI to compete against in single player mode. (If there's, just inform me because obviously I'm too dumb to find it... ;)
Fell in love with the board game yesterday. Had to buy the mobile game. Would love to be able to see my tiles all the time as you can in the actual game. Was really happy to see it on sale at time of purchase.
I'd never heard of the board game, but I'm hooked! I love the path building and all the different ways to play. The app itself gives it a nice visual design, and the tokens and paths they follow really pop. If there was an expansion or sequel with a much bigger board, though, I'd easily buy it. I'd love to see larger webs of paths to navigate and plan around and, naturally, longer games to go with them.
I changed from a nexus 5 to a huawei 9 lite and the game is now really graphically glitchy and completely unplayable. Shame really. I loved it.
A lovely game. For me it's relaxing AND giving my brain a good flexing. I play against my wife and thats a good way for us to just spend time together and talk. Great game guys/girls! Take care.

Cannot get multiplayer mode to work. Great for solo play, except when playing the back of the board. Would prefer an overhead view of the board and basic solid functionality in multilayer mode.
