Chess With Zombies: PAWN OF THE DEAD is a cartoon-ish animated 3D chess game in which the white pieces are humans and the black pieces are zombies. There are options for playing against the computer (about 1800 strength), against another player on the same device, and online. There are also options for saving and replaying games, setting up specific positions, using a clock, etc. The tilt accelerometer can be used to "tilt" the viewing angle with an adjustable sensitivity setting.
A fun way for beginning and intermediate players to improve their chess skills, and for advanced players to practice. Even people just learning to play can easily play games by using the "movable piece" and "legal move" indicators.
Recommended for tablets and larger phones.

Really was excited to download this i remember my battle chess days on pc and loved the fighting effects it had and it looked to be similar but nope not even close. The graphics are decent but the fighting is just garbage. Its stale and boring. Beef up the fighting and it would make it so much funner. And last but not least are you freaking kidding me with the difficult? I havent played in ages and i need some practice so i figure i would drop it on easy and play and its ridiculos. Help us newbs out.

I love battle chess, and this is a modern twist on exactly that. The animations are good, computer presents a nice challenge, and it's a fun app. I accidentally hit the home button while playing and apparently lost my entire game. Unfortunately, the fact that it doesn't save my game knocks off two stars and caused me to refund it. I'm wish listing it for now and will revisit in the future.

I purchased the game and there was an error. When I proceeded to download it again I was charged twice. The game also cheats a little bit, like sometimes the rook on the opposing team will move diagonally and sometimes in check the game will say I lose rather than giving me a chance to move. It also makes my phone very hot for some reason that's why I'm mark down 2 points. Other than that the game is fun
