Lord of Ravage for Android
Nice idea, but it's frustrating. Needs some tweaks... In game, it shows I got some coins. But when I'm dead, it looks like it takes forever to earn enough coins. Why? Because you lose half upon defeat. That's... Awful. There is no good reason for that, as the core gameplay is to keep fighting until death. Then it comes the shield, and it's almost impossible to defend against all attacks. Too many of them at the same time, spread across the screen. You can't move your finger fast enough. Really bad design here. Then I observe the knight has two arms, and holds the shield with one hand and the sword with the other. But I cannot use both at the same time. Also, I cannot swipe my finger to collect coins, I have to tap each one, which is just annoying. And I cannot replay beaten levels. In the end, I see some potential, but in the current state it's not fun.
Fun little game. It is short. Beat it before the developer made it easier. Swipe with sword to kill, place shield on attack input spot to defend. Upgrade attack, then agility and crit. Not much depth to the game, would be nice to have more story. Maybe characters with different abilities? One emphasizes agility, one crit, etc. Buy items? And make the game longer. No replayability.
So, it appears you are supposed to swipe the sword across some icons... and then swipe the shield across other icons... But which icons for which item? And why can't I use both thumbs? Have *both* sword and shield in motion at the same time? Couldn't get past the first enemy. Couldn't gracefully exit the game when I realized I couldn't beat the ant. If controls get fixed, or I figure out how to play the game... I might change my review.
Overall, a great game. My only gripe is that it takes a while to level up stats and not very rewarding in the end. Maybe have it so that you claim more than just the coin multiplier on death.
Responsive developer and good game.
Game still crashes on startup :(

Now that the game is fixed, I'm happy to say that it's great. The combat mechanics are a breath of fresh air, the story is pretty compelling and so far it's quite enjoyable. One thing that would make this game even better is 18x9 screen support.
