About Throwing Practice for Pokemon GO

NOTE: It has been many months since this app has been updated. Since Pokemon GO's own physics update a while ago, this app's physics no longer accurately represent those in Pokemon GO. Until such an update is made to address this, please be aware that without tweaking the physics settings on your own, this app will not help you improve your throwing in Pokemon GO.

FEATURES:
- Curveball physics
- Fully customisable physics settings
- Sliders to reposition and resize the target
- Target position presets for different Pokemon
- Unlimited balls with no delay between throws
- Markers that show where you hit the target
- Toggleable flat and round target shapes

This is a throwing simulator/practice app that has been designed to help you improve your throwing accuracy and practice landing curveballs in Pokemon GO. If you don't find the default physics to be accurate enough, you can tweak everything about them, from how far the ball goes, how quickly the ball spins, to how strong gravity is. The throwing position is faithful to the original game, with sliders allowing you to reposition and resize the target to suit your needs, and 24 presets covering a wide range of Pokemon distances from Weedle to Dragonite.

What are users saying about Throwing Practice for Pokemon GO

The presets are basically useless. Also not updated for legendaries, very short sighted not to have included the more common difficult to catch things like snorlax, lapras, tyranitar, etc...Could be great, but fell short

T70%
by T####:

The ball bounced off the top or bottom of the screen, as if there's a wall there. To reproduce, try to use the Dragonite preset and use a curveball.

T70%
by T####:

Absolute garbage. Tried using curve, completely unresponsive. Tried straight throws, the same throw strength and speed give wildly different distances. Looks pretty though...

T70%
by T####:

I was hopeful, wanted to perfect the Raikou trick, but curve balls don't work correctly and no animation to simulate Raikou attacking. Just a big disappoint

N70%
by N####:

Great idea, not executed well. There a wall that you hit on the top when you throw the ball.

D70%
by D####:

70% of the time the ball just disappears when you let go

Z70%
by Z####:

Adds make the game lag too much it's unplayable

Its great for poke ball throw. Brilliant app for Pokemon go

It's a pretty good start. Please keep up the good work and don't be afraid to update. Will be keeping this app to see where it goes.

1 word. Inaccurate

Best practice app for catching Pokemon. Looking forward to the upcoming updates to improve physics.

T70%

The mechanics of the ball and throwing are completely off

R70%

Not only is it good practice for Pokemon Go but messing with the various physics settings and the target positions its great fun to test yours skills and challenge yourself

I don't have pokemon go available in my country yet but after update I found the throw in this app is way too light, is it same in Pokemon go??

Good practice for pokemon go

T70%

The best out there. Definitely. The "poke ball" feels too heavy though, is there a way to make it lighter?

T70%
by T####:

I'm level 30 so have a lot of experience playing the game with both straight and curved balls. My impression is that the balls need to be thrown consistently harder in your app app than in the game.

Garbage creator should take off play store doesn't work just ads

Feels nothing like Pokemon GO phisics. Quite useless.

N70%
by N####:

Great practice for pokemon go. I don't think the physics is exactly the same, particularly when trying curveballs, but I find that it's already improved my straight tosses. It's also fun independent of practicing for pokemon go. I've zoned out tossing balls. I like it.

N70%
by N####:

The best out there. Definitely. The "poke ball" feels too heavy though, is there a way to make it lighter?

N70%
by N####:

Not so accurate but the best simulator out there :)

N70%

Multiballlllll!!!!

K70%
by K####:

Nice idea but the target positions aren't right and curveballs don't feel like in the game at all with default settings.
