Puzzle House: Mystery Rising

I agree with the reviewer who said it was like The Room without the room (and not quite as hard). It only took me two hours to complete, but it was correspondingly cheaper. With enough patience, you can figure out all the puzzles without hints or codes. It's sometimes helpful to make your screen brighter. I did manage to make the game crash once at the very end after I finished all the puzzles, but it's a very new game.

I loved this game! Very fine graphics and subtle clues. One star less for terrible memory management. Whenever I play this game controls get slower and slower until I can't play at all and I have to flush the memory of my tablet by rebooting. Happens four or five times during play. Very annoying - please fix. But still looking forward to the sequel!

Very good game such as room 1&2. Very good graphics. But unfortunately levels are not sufficient. Suggest to increse more level for future updates. For 2.99 usd it should be more puzzles, this is too short and totally disappointed regarding game level (it is too short game and i solve it quickly)

Feeling pretty annoyed at the folks who reviewed this game and compared it to The Room. The Room is complex and multi-layered, with an intriguing story. This is random puzzles for which you're spoon-fed the solutions with no discernable narrative. Too short, too simple... especially for the price tag.

Just like other reviewers stated, if you're a fan of The Room Pt. 1 & 2, you'll love Puzzle House. But have 2 suggestions. A game this complicated definitely needs a "built-in" walkthrough. I had to exit the game too many times just to go online for hints, wasting several minutes each time. Versus 1-2 minutes(max) w/built-in hint system. And the puzzle where you change the red shapes green didn't make logical sense. Only a MENSA member could solve that one! Lol. Otherwise, this is a highly recommended game.

I solved this game with no hints in about 2 hours. It wasn't really that challenging and not worth the money I spent on it. That being said I thought the graphics are really good and I enjoyed the 360 effect. I just wish it was longer and more challenging.

The game was fun, but it was way too short. Solved it too quickly. I wish there was more. I don't mind paying the 2.99, good graphics and game play, just felt disappointed there wasn't more.

Puzzle House Mystery Rising is a great game , puzzles to make you think . The whole game has a fresh slightly edgy, alien but calm feel about it (especially the music) while being a worthy challenge... .....Love the Drone...There is even a new alphabet, I shall be writing in Arc soon. ......When I finished The Room and Forever Lost (1and 2 ) I was feeling bereft . Puzzle house have made me smile again Thank you to the creators...... Unlike other games there are no worrying blood stains or disturbingly psychotic letters. This gives the game a much more healthy and invigorating feel while still keeping that wonderful, mysterious edge.......Walkthrough is excellent, I needed it a few times, this is no tapping frenzy, its a well thought out story. If I had to be picky I would say that, while the graphics are aesthetically pleasing there is the odd little line and gap . .....This game is classic , with a little more attention to the fine detail it will become an all time great!... Can't wait to see what puzzle house come up with in the future....meanwhile...Buy it ..and support real talent

The puzzles are very unique and, for me at least, challenging. It is somewhat similar to The Room in that the puzzle are different than your typical type puzzles. I really enjoyed this game.

Atmospheric. Good puzzles. Some a bit too obscure. Reminded me of room.

Gotta say, this is as good as The Room! But not very long- I love this really love It!! Magnificent job dev's, give me more...

A nice addition to the puzzle genre. Not too difficult, hint book is a little hard to read on phone screen. Somewhat short without the depth or visuals of games like The Room. Still, pretty fun and likely will purchase the next version... Soon I hope!

Very fun tricky puzzles. The way its 3D and you have to move around to do everything and actually open boxes, turn keys, and move stuff yourself, makes it so much better of a game. I really wish there were a lot more games like!

Loved it. Not quite as good as The Room series and a bit shorter but probably the next best app compared to The Room apps. Only problem I thought was that some of the puzzles and objects were too small to see clearly on a phone screen. Apart from those small issues, an excellent app. Will definitely buy the next one.

Impatient for The Room 3, I searched for similar games and found this. It feels very much like The Room in terms of 3D playability, graphics quality and puzzle types. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed this. It was a little simplistic, but the graphics are awesome and I loved the story line. I wish we could have gone further with it than we did. I felt like it was over too soon. Great job!

This game feels like a demo, but a paying one... which defies the very raison d'être of a demo. When I finished it I thought I finished the tutorial. It's quite of a pity because other than that the game is pretty good. Puzzles aren't the hardest out there, but fun. People compare this game to "the room", which makes sense, but with the latter you have hours of gameplay (and it's far prettier), for me no comparison. Make it last more then 15mn, otherwise don't make people pay for this.

Good looking graphics. Nice music, though it would be nice if you were able to turn it off.

Puzzle House-Mystery Rising included quite a variety of puzzles held together by an interesting storyline. Looking forward to sequel. And yes I agree it was much on the order of a shorter Room 1&2!

I agree with other reviews that stated this felt more like a demo than a full game. It is very well designed and the puzzles make you think without being overly difficult, but I completed it in less than an hour without using any hints or walkthroughs. It's well done but feels unfinished and is not worth the cost for such a short game. Developers should either cut the price back a bit or add a few more puzzles to justify what they are currently charging.

I wish there were more games out there like this - looking forward to Port of Call!

It was really fun, but it literally lasted about 45 minutes. There are 2 levels, and I'm still not sure exactly what the premise was. That part was kind of dumb. I'm gonna play it again, because I love these kind of games. Honestly, though, it was a let down.

Loved the ingenuity of the puzzles and found them challenging but not impossible. Navigation was fun and visuals were high end. I wish playing time was a bit longer. That's the only reason for four stars.
