"Transomnie" is the gamebook the app is based on. It's written by Emmanuel Quaireau and illustrated by Elodie Marze. It was awarded "Yaztromo" for best gamebook in France of 2010. "Yaztromo" is the biggest annual competition for gamebooks held for nearly a decade.

The story isn't all that great. The random stats basically force you to restart to roll better ones. The ending wasn't really worth playing over and over to learn exactly what you need to do. Poor translation as well.

Sentence structure was bad enough to put me off completely. I could barely tell what was going on. The first chapter chapter might not have been the best but it all snowballed from there. Dev desperately needs a beta reader.

I have to say I really liked how interactive it is with the diary filling in items you find and with the pics you have to unlock throughout the game - definitely keep it up in the next ones! Great game and a real page turner!

A rare of a kind horror gamebook. It is an obvious Lovecraftian tribute that reminds me of J. Carpenter's movie "In the Mouth of Madness". Both the author, illustrator and developer have done amazing job to make one of the best gamebook apps. And there are no adds, praise GOD!
