It could've been much better... The controls were to hard as well as the enemy spawn rate... I feel like with a bit of tweeking to the game it could be much more fun and be a better experience...

Looks more like cheap pixeleted than cool and classic. How about remove the pixel shader thingy? The game play is really random, I have no idea what to do. All I can do is randomly spamming the fire button and keep dying. Can't find the use of jump button. Everything happens with no clues and explanations.

I can hardly tell whats going on. You should try a brighter color pallet, because everything is too dark and blends together, so I can't tell what's going on very easily. Will change my review when this problem is fixed.
