Sky Castle 2 3D Graphics Demo for Android
This small castle scene has lots of potential. VERY beautiful! The scenery with the piano music is very relaxing. *I am keeping this one just proof of what can be done, if nothing else* I had a little troubles with the controls in interactive mode, like with most controlers of this style, on this larger tablet, am unable to control the direction too well with my left hand.
I rarely got under 50fps. It's a nice and smooth demo, but it will be nice to register the average of fps and to store them as a leaderboard to see which smartphone perform better in your demo.
Ran extremely well (the old S4) never running below 49 fps, kinda makes me wish it was a real project. Controls were weird, can't look and move at the same time, and there's graphical pop-up, BUT LOOK AT IT!
Pros-small file size, good cinematics, optimized for most devices. Cons- control blueprints are contradicting with each other, limited by unity for open world game (unreal engine 3 beats these graphics and udk 4 even more so) so really just the controls are my issue. Not sure if you have done any unreal development but the controls on it are amazing. Just thought I'd give an honest opinion on the demo. All in all good job.... Edit... Made 3 years ago so definitely not bad
however, as pretty as it is, it pains to see that every single effect other than reflections was made using textures, the fountain hurts the worst... however the composition of the image is astonishing, and, though it could be compared to Dear Esther since its lack of any modern effects such as godrays etc its clearly visible that there was a load of work put into it.
It's amazingly cool and the graphics look so cool and real! But it is very creepy because sometimes you see stuff that scare you at first and it's also scary because your the only person there
Locked my 4.2.2 "Android stick" up. Kept playing the scenes over and over, but did not respond to any button presses at all. Had to pull the power plug.
It was very juddery, glitchy, nothing compared to Epic Citadel. Wouldn't recommend. Would definitely recommend Epic Citadel.
Need to work a little more on the controls. Apart from that its a deadly app.
i really liked the graphics it showcases for android devices.looks stunning at 1080p resolution on my s4.however due to android gpu limitations it cannot reach the texture quality achieved on pc gpus.but soon in the future mobile textures will reach pc textures and pc gpus will reach the next level
Exactly as discribed, beautiful environments and atmosphere to explore while showing off engine capabilities.
I cant get into the castle I keep falling into the ground but great graphics
The graphics are extremely smooth. My Note 4 was always between 59.96 to 60.78 fps. It is a bit hard to control on interactive mode but it is so smooth and beautiful, it does not take anything away from it.
However, shows how much better the Unreal Engine is compared to the Unity Engine for mobile gaming. Epic Citadel benchmark has significantly better graphics and runs at higher frame rates.
You should make this castle bigger Castle have a lot of rooms to visit maybe lot of Dungeons and all that other Castle have all the places to visit
Not able to exit the app, will rate 5*'s when fixed.
Excellent tech demo! Graphics are top notch! It's great to wander about!☺
Excellent navigation through a Myst like sky castle island floating in the clouds.
It's like epic citadel but cooler and more open but the controls suck.
This is some of the sickest graphics I have ever seen for a phone you should make this game I would buy it
Using an Nex5 gets mostly 58 fps. Yes, the controls are a bit wonky & would love to be able to go over the fountain pool manually. Looks great. ★★★★★
Looks nice. Nitpickingly though, the UI is very small on a high PPI screen and occlusion culling is very agressive (disappearing objects/walls/landmasses!). Also no benchmark or back button functionality?
Wow! I got no idea on how this huge 3D castle made. And obviously enough that it's almost 60 fps on my Dell Venue 7 Tablet. I wish that it have the complete castle on the next years to follow. Thanks also for the music used in this demo and have a very good day!
Great graphics and is this a game please make one

OK graphics but not pushing phone to limit its 60fps
This runs very smooth on my new Motorola Droid Maxx at 60fps vs my old Samsung Galaxy Tab first gen at 18fps.
It was really good. But the controls are bad...please make them bigger and easier to use
Please add cardboard support, so 5 stars
Man u have to make this into an RPG u will get so many likes its not funny
By this point we can all agree that this is perfect. It's a simple game, and that's all it ever needs to be. It's beautiful, and anyone who doesn't like it is a malcontent douche and should crawl in a hole and die.
Just download the unigine heaven benchmark on pc

Great app to see just what android is capable of and that my phone is still relevant even though its 2 years old! :)
Seriously, maybe a simple rpg. I'd pay good money to play something this beautiful

It's a graphics tour de force. Looks impressive.
It is cool and done nicely very good but it is extremely boring and has a few rooms to explore you can't interact with eanything and the controls are bad really bad but you deserve 4☆ because it is beautiful and done nicely even though the textures at some points are bad
The movement controls suck and the graphics aren't that great. If you want a real demo of what can be done, check out epic Citadel instead.

I was legitimately surprised how well this demo both Looked and Ran on my device, never went down less then 35 fps, everything looks well done. Technical note: from far away, the draw distance cuts short and part of the island "disappears". The " oculus" on the outside is higher in the demo then it is on the inside (i think to save Frame Rate etc), i know this is a Demo , but UI wise, if you could move and look simultaneously that make it an even smoother experience. Great work, great attention to detail
