Remember those wire loop games where you slowly guide a metal ring along a twisting wire and try not to touch it? This isn’t really a lot like one of those!
In Doppler you’re tasked with maintaining the charge of a shining electric wave that twists and turns towards you. In an exciting take on touch screen controls you place one finger on either side to form a connection – let go, touch the line, or stray too wide, and you’ll lose charge; stay close and you can get some back. That’s it, how long can you last?

Doppler is one of those games that's easy to learn, but hard to master. After spending some time beating my personal high score with a decent margin, the first thought in my head was; "beat the personal high score!" ... I'm still trying. It offers several game modes that each have a different feel and pace (Extreme mode possibly prompting treatment for high blood pressure). Best Play Store purchase I made in a long while! Get it!

When I first saw this I was confused by how the game would work, so I downloaded it. When I first entered the game my thoughts were "oh great, it's a line. I'd it another stay off the line game?" So I played for awhile and it became better and better than my original expectations.

Unique and finely crafted mobile gaming experience, deserves a lot more attention. 3 game modes, easily 5+ hours of gameplay for 100% completion. Full leaderboard and achievement support. 16 achievements for 75,000 points, some of which are very challenging. Best played with the device on a table, very tough on the go. Highly recommended, especially for those enjoying a real challenge. Xperia Z Ultra, Android 4.4.4.

Doppler originally did not start on my Galaxy S3, but after contacting the developer, the problem quickly got sorted out. The game itself is very challenging and addicting that'll keep you hooked for hours if you let it.
