The Mushroom Oracle is a tarot deck for artists, scientists and spiritual explorers that draws from biology and mythology to deliver words of wisdom from the mushroom spirits. It teaches the survival strategies that mushrooms learned from surviving several mass world wide extinctions. This deck uses lessons from mushroom biology to give advice on healthy intentional living to help you recognize and overcome boundaries and self-imposed limitations. It focuses on knowing when and what to let go of, when to push forward, when to seek guidance and inspiration and when to meditate and be calm.
The deck was created by an artist and amateur mycologist to join the forces of art, science and spirituality. It features 34 digitally manipulated macro photographs of wild mushrooms, each leading to advice and a biology lesson. The cards are formatted to fit a tablet or a phone.
The deck is designed to be used as a daily meditation.

Gorgeous depictions of mushrooms and fascinating to read about the lifestyle of these beautiful, and often little-known, fungi. When the cards are flipped, the advice with each card is also brilliant. A really thoughtful and lovely app (and what a beautiful font!). This makes me want to learn more about mushrooms. A nice alternative to the tarot. A sweet deck that extrapolates spiritual advice based on the biological traits of wild mushrooms. Fun.

At first this was an interesting oracle app. It's now so overrun with PopUp ads it's basically useless. You can't even fully read the text before a PopUp obliterates it. Hope the artist and her developer will fix this and maybe give us the option of a paid version.
