Castaway: Survival Island

I paid for this game had it less then a day i uninstalled it. It has potential but needs work. Only gave 3 stars this is why: The lenght of day and night are too short, needs to be more trees or increase the amount of wood you get from one tree, the furnace doesn't work properly, I followed the instructions on how to use it and I kept loosing metal, gold, and silver. The controls felt sticky, like you had to work to look left or right, should have in the setting a option to change sensitivity levels. Getting items out of inventory is a hassle, should have a inventory bar at the bottom of the screen with a few slots to put the axe, pickaxe and weapons. When you cut a tree it falls down and then the wood goes flying in the air as if the tree blew up, and you have to go around picking it up from wherever it lands,when you find it. Kept loosing items from my inventory, cloth, wood, a pickaxe. Should have a map, i kept having to collect items to make a campfire over and over again, because you have to go all over the island to get enough supplies to make other items. In think the first hour of the game got no place because the lenght of the day is way to short, when night comes you start getting cold, then freezing and then it starts raining, you're health starts going down. So you have to use the supplies to make a campfire again and again. Love the fact that you have caves, only went in then out of one tho, but it looked great. I think if you improve the above this will be a 4 star game. Would be a shame not to improve it. I have played almost every survival game on Googleplay. The one i still own is Thrive Island, this game reminds me of that game. I will keep checking to see if any improvements are made. Please improve it. If you do, this game could be worth paying more then 99 cents. Good luck.

When I mine in the cave the rocks just disappear an i can't pick them up if u can fix this I would 5 star the game

I see that someone has told you about the mining in the cave and the sulphur disappearing so they could not pick it up well we are still having the same problem if you could please fix this problem I would probably give this game a five stars rating

Please save the game when you leave the game.

It's good but there should be an update where we could ride the dinousaurs and have more tools.

I haven't had this game for very long but so far it's been great, only one thing really bugs me, and that's the movement, it's kinda akward to me. But besides that, this game is pretty good

Will you put farming into the game and stone structures more animals because this game is becoming very good keep it up....

Just a couple of ideas. The compass needs NSEW, maybe able to hold it in your hand to follow directions. Possible way point locators for easier navigation. Binoculars would be another cool addition if it is possible. Just some thoughts. The raptor attacks way too far away like it has a distance weapon. Still looking forward to more stuff in the mountains. Trees, animals, etc... A window wall would be a good addition. Thanks.

When it rains even if you build a house with a roof and a fire you still freeze as if you were out in it with out a fire thank you

I like the game. mabey have controls customizable would be good. and a deer should give way more meat than a rabbit lol. I found a bug with the deer sometimes when I kill it it will disappear and not respawn. bows and arrows. need a use for bone. lol love the game thou

Game keeps crashing I cannot play for more than a couple of minutes, I have a 1g of ram quad core Prestige Elite 9q tablet which plays other games well, please fix. By the way this game is far better than Thrive Island and I really love playing this game as it has so much potential. It is getting worse now I cannot even get the game to load, I will just have to wait till you fix the game so that I can play it once again.

It satisfies my survival needs, but....word of warning.....it's easy to cheat.

First let me say that i love this game. Even when it was in its first beta stages.... BUT, what era of time are you trying to create?? The little raptor dinosaurs arent even fair play, cuz not only do they damage you, YOU CANT EVEN EAT THEM AFTER!!! I wish i knew how to create a game like this so i could help... Or or.... Idk...but this gamer girl is frazzled

Every time I added something to the furnace or the fire pit and save the game and exit everything I added is gone when I log back in. Please add a way to add more then one item at a time to furnace and fire pit. Not sure if this is a glitch or a new update the furnace now take wood to refine ore. Great game keep the updates coming.

It brings me to the 1st loading screen and then kicks me out everytime

Some bugs when exiting the cave I would like to be able to craft a bow and arrow from some wood as it seems a bit weird that I can make a gun that easily Also please give more meat depending on the animal size How is it possible to get the same amount of meat off of a rabbit and a deer and a spider?? Lastly can we have traps? Like snares for rabbits etc?

When I open my quest log since 2 updates ago the other day I think the 14th maybe when I open my quest log it won't close anymore the bottom back button doesn't work I can't get out of it and I have to crash my game and I lose progress if haven't saved recently... please fix!

I love your game problem is I cut down all the trees and they don't re grow the berries and cotton do I've gotten really far and had to exit out and when I go back I've had to start all over again and this makes me sad I found your black abyss in the cave and feel off the world lol if you could just fix a few things being able to save progress and adding way more trees that be great

This is fun. I don't enjoy the majority of these kind of games, but following repeated updates this game found its identity. It's not lacking the motivational factor that keeps you playing...at least not at this stage. I still think the days and nights are too short. This is fast paced survival (almost arcade like), and if that's the developers intention I don't mind all that much. But you starve quickly, leaving little time for exploring. I'd like an option for a more leisure visit to this island.

The door wall for the building doesn't match up with the walls and you could use a window wall. I like the fishing but it could use a little more action or feel in the rod when a fish is on. Shadows still off. It could use some type of predators or enemies. I know ideas take time. Keep up the good work.

Love the game but would be 5 star if you could save that's why I bought the full version

The game certainly has its flaws, but is obviously still under heavy development. The core concept is sound and well implemented! I'm really looking forward to seeing more content.
