This game is addicting and gets really difficult at the minute mark. The game designer is really cool and I look forward to mixelman 2.

I guess that makes it a success, but also a failure? If this is the worst thing that can come from this dev, there's a bright future ahead! Congrats on first release!

Questionable quality.

I really like the concept, and I'd love the game to have 3D (anaglyph) modes, or a 3DS release! What it needs though, is a little balancing; sometimes it's impossible to pass between depths without hitting the spikes

Read your article on Gamasutra and just wanted to say that if that's the worst you could do in 5 hours, then I really look forward to playing something from you that you feel is decent :). Just one feature would make this little game much better, actually perfect for its intents. Add a best score / time on the main screen. Just so you can compete with yourself.

My highest record was 11 minutes and 24 seconds, it took me an hour to get that far.

This game seriously blew me away. It is flawless. Granted, it is fairly simple, but regardless if its simplicity, the fact that is so robust is worthy of recognition. Everything from the progression speed to the soundtrack is natural and unobtrusive. The hit detection is outstanding as well; Valve could learn a thing or two (CS:GO I am looking at you!). Honestly though, for a free, simple game, this is as good as it gets.

Requires no special permissions! Wooh! Has more depth than flappy bird, albeit literally. Could use if(Input.GetKeyDown(KeyCode.Escape)) { Application.Quit();}

Reminds me a lot of Mutant Mudds. 10x better than flappy bird. Congrats on finishing a game!

Mixel Man is simple. All you do is move between the foreground and background avoiding spikes. However, the simple artwork and sound is charming, although the game offers little in terms of content. All in all, it's a fun, free game.

Love the idea, it's very simplistic, but very addictive and entertaining. Good work!

If you're into Flappy Bird, Canabalt or any other one-touch games, give this a shot. Music's catchy.

For what it is, this game is actually pretty good. It lacks some Polish here and there, but it's a pretty solid and simple little game.

Pure genuis.

Simplistic but good

Great, simple game. Feels pretty oldschool, is in line with every other 1 button game. Is more rewarding than flappy bird etc. Has less rage potential either.
