Jazza's ARTY GAMES is a fun tool you can use to accompany your drawing sessions to practice with, challenge yourself, and most of all, have fun with your art!
DISCLAIMER: There is no 'in-app' drawing, this app is an accompaniment to your drawing sessions to be used for generating ideas and challenges.
The ARTY GAMES app features:
- Multiple Profiles (each with materials and game/app settings)
- Single Play Mode with 8 fun game options (Time limit optional)
- Arty Party Mode for Rapid-Fire Art Challenges!
In Single Play Mode you can play with or without a time limit and challenge yourself with one of eight fun idea generation and art practice games.
1 - COLOR CHALLENGE:
The Color Challenge game assigns you between 1-5 colors you’re limited to creating your artwork with. The game generates these colors from the colored materials you add to your Arty Games profile such as paint and color pencils. You can also add Markers by brand (Copic, Mepxy, ProMarker, Prismacolor or 'Other') and build your materials from the official colors and sets for each brand! That way you can Play games like the 3-marker challenge without messing up your collection of markers!
2 - CHARACTER CHALLENGE
The Character Challenge generates random combinations of Character Designs and Scenarios for you to draw. These can turn out funny, or epic – and there are billions of combinations to be explored!
3 - ENVIRONMENT CHALLENGE
The Environment Challenge generates a scene for you to draw based in either an Interior or Exterior environment.
4 - INCREMENTAL DESIGN
In the Incremental Design challenge, you draw a character’s head or body in 5 stages which are revealed one by one, so you won’t know what the final design will be until the very end – surprises lie in store!
5 - SCRIBBLE CHALLENGE
The scribble Challenge generates a random doodle for you to copy down and turn into a work of art.
6 - COPY CHALLENGE
In the Copy challenge, you are given an image to reproduce as closely as possible, which will help your observation and drawing skills, and can be a good warm-up to a drawing session too!
7 - DESIGN MIX
The Design Mix challenge presents you with two random items which you must thematically or aesthetically combine in a creative way.
8 - CUSTOM GENERATOR
The Custom Generator allows you to build your own lists to generate ideas and games from. The possibilities are LITERALLY endless!
If you’re really up for a challenge, you can start an Arty Party!
ARTY PARTY MODE:
This mode is great to challenge yourself in, or play with a group of friends. Simply select the number of challenges you want to play and the level of intensity – (be warned, 'Intense' is named that for a reason!), and after you pick the games you want to be included, hit GO and get ready for a mashup of insane challenges that will test the skill of even the most experienced artists.

Crazy concepts that break down character and landscape designs as well as practicing making connections to patterns and shapes. Great daily creative practice that doesn't make me feel like I have to do a big prep for. Plus being on the spot gets rid of all your pre-conceived notions and allows you to flow. The app is simple and you don't really need too much more. Jazza did a great job with the app.

I really do enjoy this app and I also love watching your videos ! My favourite way to practice drawing involves copying what I see, so the copy challenge is perfect. It can be fairly difficult for me at my level and I lack the confidence to just go for it at this stage.. is there any way you can add some different styles, such as your cartoons or just simpler images, as options or settings so I can feel more comfortable and not trying to jump into photo realism right away ? Thank you for this great app! :D

Been waiting for this since the first three marker challenge. I LOVE IT!! Sometimes I have a hard time figuring out how to draw the things described (how to you draw being bipolar) but it makes me think in different and creative ways. I wish there was a way to save the challenges other than screancaping them though.

Great app, and a lot of fun. It can really get you going if you don't know what to draw. the only thing I would suggest if you are going to do a new update soon, is to add sets and brands in the coloured pencil material section te same way as it is done with the markers. Think of brands like, Caran D'ache and Faber castell. I have a set of 60 Faber castells and they do not really translate that well in the colour picker.

Holy moly are the timed challenges tough! My six year-old gives it a 5/5. (Thank you for "Child Mode".) I went with a 4 because of unity lag, and waiting to see what new features will be added to make it even better. Nice work, Jazza and crew! Well worth the $3.

Downside is the color challenge generator doesn't actually take colors from both selected sets. I have prismacolor and copics, but the generator favors copics and NO colors from the prismacolor are generated into the mix (even if both are selected). I have to uncheck the copic box. Which is a bummer bc I want to use both sets since they complete each other

This is an amazing app. How something like this was never made before is a mystery. I've already made a few practice pieces using the various modes and created scenarios I would never have thought of. One issue though is that I've set my markers to custom and chose the 12pc option yet the color challenge is not selectable for me.

Working by the clock to produce the maddest art is a lot of fun. I found it difficult to rate the app any less than 5 stars, considering I couldn't find any problems with it. A really effective app for even the newest and most inexperienced players to build their artists skills.

This is a great app and I love your channel, but a suggestion. Put a noise for when you're finished a challenge with a timer on it. People will be too absorbed by their drawing they won't think to check the time, and a buzzer would really help. Thanks if you even read this review, and keep rocking Jazza!

I love the idea of the app but it needs to let you save the challenges instead of screenshot and let you save the copy photos. I almost finished a drawing and accidentally backed out so a challenge history would also be nice. And would it be possible for you to make it so you can save photos you take in the app that matches with the challenge you did. Just a few ideas.

Amazing app for all artist! I've sat down for hours now just cycling through all the options and drawing everything. The app works really well, and I HIGHLY recommend for any artist going through artists block or just wants to have fun!

So long, creativity drought! I havent felt this inspired in a while! I really love this app, but that being said, there are a few things I'd like to see. I'd like to see a more diverse pool of coloring mediums and expansions of the already existing categories. I'd also like to see an option for a random generator for hexidecimal codes for digital artists that would like to take on color challenges :) Overall, its still an amazing, unique app that I recommend to any artist, beginner and beyond!

Awesome, perfect for when you want to draw but not sure what, it kind of eliminates the artist version of writers block. Well worth it for artists, whatever your level.
