In your runaway quest you may duck, jump, throw Illuminati Triangles.

Ducking: Duck whenever there are poles or obstacles. In certain situations jumping will not work so ducking is the only option.
Jumping: Jump to avoid poles and obstacles as well. In certain situations ducking won't work so ducking is the only possible option.
Illuminati Triangles: Throw Illuminati Triangles in order to open locked walls. Picking locks isn't illegal in the Illuminati because nothing is illegal in the Illuminati.
