Red Woods for Android
The controls can use some work. They need to be more accurate and precise. Also, the camera angle should stay down when releasing the right joystick. I feel limited and unable to really explore the game when it automatically repositions itself straight.
I really hate first person games because they make me ill (a feeling of vertigo). But, the speed here is just right and, there are no camera shakes or bright flares. Generally, categorically, I avoid first person games, but something made me try Red Woods and, I'm glad I did. Simply put, it is gripping. The first time I ran it, I couldn't put it down! Also, I'm definitely not a horror fan, not by any stretch of the imagination (I'm still waiting for a truly scary movie). If you like puzzles, then give Red Woods a try (I believe there is a demo version). So, why only 3 stars? The game does not save progress. Every time you play, you start from the beginning. This is infuriating as I go slow and poke around in every corner and crack available. It's also inexcusable in this day and age. My other complaint is that you cannot play during the day, even with your brightness all the way up! The game is simply too dark (for effect, obviously).
More than fair but needs more, it's 2017. Haunt me a save, I'd appreciate it. Psychology gone
Why is the font so small? Where are the controls to change fonts. It makes the game unplayable. Please fix
Stuck from the start of the game..i don't know where to go..how to enter the door..??
No saving. Close the app, start from beginning. What's the point?
The game was really good and has good graphics. Challenging and has a good story.
Font and intro are far too small to be legible
Awful
Controls are really bad and difficult to navigate the rooms with. Slammed with long, star wars crawl wall of text upon game start which is a HORRIBLE intro to any game, and absolutely hate how the camera keeps panning back up automatically when I'm trying to look at stuff on the floor. No idea where the "award-winning" part of this comes into play and suspect it's just written to make the game seem more attractive, considering the low amount of downloads (100, really?) and barely anything else about it on the web. Laughing at all the anonymous, five star, completely blank reviews right at the beginning that are OBVIOUSLY fake accounts made to boost the apparent popularity and rating of the game. Couldn't last past the first few puzzles because of how frustrating it was to play through.
100 downloads and it's an award winning game? Ok then.
Please scale the buttons, thanks.
Not something good
Fantastic.

Just OK. 3 stars is all I can give this game. The ONLY reason is the lack of saving progress in the game. That is the only thing holding this great game back. Graphics are superb. Controls are superb. The concept is superb. The fonts are not superb - guys...too small!!! Potentially a 5 star game, but until the save state is put in place, it will remain mediocre.
