ProD&D Dungeon Generator

Love the app. I tend to be pretty busy between work and home life. I play with the app when I have a break here and there to help plan out my latest adventure. I do appreciate the buy all button to save money. What I would like to see is a change on the themes. Some such as forest or arctic don't really have a distinction in color between outside path and water and regular path. This leads me to mainly using the swamp and rocks theme. I still give the app 5 stars for creativity and usefulness, and also since the devs seem to be listening to feedback to make something really cool.

In its full capacity, this is a fantastic tool for GMs! I love the events in particular. My only complaint is that the creature simulation only lets me simulate a dwarf or a cockroach. :( It would be really cool if I could add monsters via the events and then be able to simulate movements with them. Hopefully there will be more creatures available in the future, but if not, still a great and very useful app. Thanks!

Great tool once you buy everything ($10 usd). As far as the free version: it's good for creating a starting point. You can make the bones of the map, play around a bit, and then export it. I would like to see more decorative props please, devs. A great example would be little piles of bones, bushes, trees, rocks, etc.

It feels clunky and feels like it misses the mark for a mobile phone tool. Basic generation is OK but could use more features and the algorithm could use some tweaking for when straying from the default; >1 door per room for example always seemed to have them right beside each other or on the wall rather than a pass through room.

Took me 2 days to figure out how to edit/paint the dungeons. Since it's not in the tutorials or FAQs. Click the time right below the paint brush on the left side pane to view the options.

Don't bother. They've made a solid app, and I would be happy to pay £5 or even £10 for it straight up, but it's nothing but in app purchases. You want a sewer? Pay for that. You want to add items to your map? Pay for that. You want to save your map for printing? Pay for that. Ridiculous. You made a powerful app that could have really helped busy GMs, but wrecked it with in app purchases.

I like the overall concept and bought the special for everything....But I am unable to print a map with events on it. It will get to a certain low percentage and then hang with the export wheel spinning in perpetuity. Would rate higher and recommend if this was fixed. Otherwise the events item impairs the printing of a map.

This app is almost perfect for what it is. If you're an active DM, this will make your life a million times easier. However, like some of the reviewers mentioned, this app does seem to be optimized for tablet and can be a bit tricky to use on a phone. I have a Galaxy S7 Edge and it works fine for me, but I definitely see how someone using a smaller phone could have issues. About the in-app purchases: I don't think each item is worth the money by itself, but the combo packs and ESPECIALLY the full access compendium are well worth buying, in my opinion. $10 is not very much at all, and the amount of features you get is staggering. I've used quite a few, and there are no other apps that work as well as this. Finally, a note to the developers: If you buy the compendium, you can still buy the bundles for some reason. Most apps lock stuff like this so that people don't accidentally buy the same thing twice, and I'd recommend doing the same. Overall, this is a fantastic app if you want a diverse dungeon generator and have a decently large device to use it on. //EDIT// I've been using it for a bit, and i just found out that you need to be connected to the internet when you open the app, otherwise you can't use any of the paid features, even once you've bought them. This immediately detracts a star because my internet is dodgy at best and there's no reason you should have to be connected to it to use a dungeon generator. I'll happily bump my review up to 4 or 5 stars if this issue is fixed.

I love being able to generate a dungeon in a second, I play a lot of making a campaign on the fly, So this app is amazing for me! I didn't give it five stars all the way through, is mostly because i would have prefered they gave a few more things to be generated and not have to be forced to purchase. Also wish you could make your own creatures, thatd be awesome!

Impressed with their quick responses to inquiries. The generator is really great. Only reason for the 4 stars ultimately is because of the cost. Getting full access to everything is upwards of $25-30. Otherwise pretty awesome.

I've purchased the pro version of this app some time back and am now starting to use it again. However, I noticed that there were new things added and I don't get access to those even though I've purchased the pro version.

Can't even try anything worthwhile until you purchase. Also, the team are a bunch of annoying sjws. Stay outta politics or be more neutral.

I wish the generation options were better described and had more variation. For instance, the option to define and preset certain characteristics of a town before I generate it. Otherwise it is great for generating good templates that I can edit.

Pretty good app by itself, but if you want it to really become the tool it's supposed to be I'd suggest buying the combo $9.99 unlock pack. It opens up a lot of creative options, and honestly, there's not any other app I can find that compares if you want to make your own maps / zones / areas or whatever.

Only problem is that I have to be online when I open the app to use paid features. Kinda ridiculous to require Internet for this kind of app. But otherwise solid! Please fix that.

overall, i like it, but we dont need 16 different types of chair etc, when you are so lacking in other items

If you're willing to spend some money (I spent 9$ on the beginner set), it's an incredible dungeon generator

Terrible I spent 4 dollars on this app and I don't even own what I bought on it anymore.

99% of the content is behind a paywall, free is substantially useless--for me, at least.

I tried to open it multiple times; it goes back to my home screen most of the time and crashed my phone twice. I'm using Android version 2.3.3, and I'm somewhat triggered.

Disgusted. Bought the bundle for the outrageous fee they were charging to only to log in a few hours later and discover I don't have the features.

Crashes as soon as it starts on all my devices

I like this map maker and so would my dad. He is a DM and would probly love this just as much as me!

Works great, but the ability to custom color elements, not just picking themes would be nice. A real simple pick color for water, walls, turf, etc. Would make it 5 stars. Works good, not any more expensive than other RPG supplies. Recommended. Sync between devices would be nice, but there is a work around with the Share function. Can we get white and black for event colors?

App crashes on startup. Plz fix -will repay with better rating
