وتتحدث قصة حميدو العاق هذه المرة عن فتى وطفل صغير يعامل والدته معاملة سيئة، حيث كلما نادت عليه وطلبت منه أي شيء فأنه يقوم باغلاق اذنيه ويتعمد اهمالها وعدم الاكتراث لها بلا مبالاة كبيرة وبتصرفاتٍ غير مسؤولة، كما أنه يصرخ بوجهها رغم حبها له.

وفي إحدى المرات نادت والدة حميدو عليه، ولكنّه بدلاً من سماعها والتوجه اليها فوراً لنيل رضاها، فإنه قام باغلاق اذنيه وهو يضحك باستهزاء شديد، فتوجهت والدته اليه وهي تحمل الطعام بيديها لتقدمه له لأنه سبق وأخبرها بشعوره بالجوع الشديد وهو يشاهد التلفاز.

وخلال مشيها وقعت والدته على الارض وصرخت من الوجع والالم وهي تنادي على حميدو ليساعدها في ما حدث معها، ولكنه رغم ذلك ظلّ مغلقاً اذنيه بشكل متواصل وهو يضحك ويستهزىء بوالدته المسكينة، ولكنّ الله عاقبه وجازاه بسبب معصيته له ومعاملته السيئة لأمه.

وبعد مرور ساعات، تذكر حميدو أنه جائع جداً وأصبحت معدته تؤلمه من شدة الجوع وهو يصرخ وينادي على أمه التي لم تلبي النداء بسبب سقوطها ومرضها، فأصبح يبكي وهو يشعر بالندم الشديد على ما فعله من تصرفات مسيئة لأمه التي تحبه وتسهر على راحته.

وجاء والد حميدو وقام بتوبيخه وأمره بالذهاب للام وطلب العفو والرضا منها، وأخبره بأنه اذا لم يساعد والدته ويحميها ويساندها في حياتها فإنّ الله سيعاقبه ولنْ يجد الطاعة والبركة في جميع أعماله
