This is AWESOME. Bad-ass bots, a unique AI Editor and Futuristic fights make it a must have for sci-fi fans. Sébastien Dubois rocks. To those who like the game: Do not thank the 'devs'. This work of art was created by a one man army. To those who DON'T like the game: Hold on! It's still in Alpha. GFX47 and the Alpha Testers (including me) are working around the clock (and all around the globe too...) to bring new and improved UI, and other features. Edit: Now we are not allowed to say Bad-Ass. *sniff*

Really good game. I really enjoyed it. Takes a bit of thinking to develop good tactics which sets it apart from other games. Only problem I found was the matchmaking in higher leagues is quite bad, I get matched with people 400 points above my score so I get rekt. Other than that it's really fun and one of the better games on Android so I look forward to future updates.

Amazing game. Don't know what's with the negative reviews, but I haven't touched this masterpiece in a long time. As in, I lost all of my AI long ago. But it was fun building my way back up the ladder. Though something glitches and I unlocked everything after my first loss, trying to rebuild my inefficient AI. I don't mind not paying, but that's something that you may want to look into for lost profits that way.

I bet you played some Carnage Heart on the PSX. Feels a lot like that, but freed from a grid. Can't wait to see what this becomes. Graphics are good, flow chart model is easy to understand, all the modes make sense and are useful in the context of the game immediately. Well done.

This an amazing game with lots of potential but I hate the fact that as soon as you get deep into the game and after 10 matches you hit a paywall. Why did you guys have to chose THAT of all things to do? I love this game and I hope it goes far but I am uninstalling this because you guys could have done anything but that to get money for this game.

My Internet is really slow, so after a dozen matches on my log the game decides that it's taking too long to load and displays 'connection timed out'. Can you solve this issue please? Cuz I'm having so much fun on multiplayer! PS. Auto search&join function for multiplayer would be nice.

I am a PLC and ladder logic engineer. This is basically what I do for a living, and I'm surprised to find myself doing it for fun in my free time! The challenges are interesting, the logic controls are really clever, the interface is intuitive, and the game play is fun. Excellent game! (To the devs: have you considered reaching out to PLC manufacturers like Unitronics to offer this as a training ground/introduction to logic? It sure beats anything I could do to teach trees and conditional operations.)

This is a very good game. But i can't understand something in the career section. It says please commit to your past games or whatever but when i try to play the games i have played before, i can't edit anything, i can only see the watch option. I don't know what to do.

Really fun to play. There's so much freedom to test and practice simple to intermediate programming while having a fun challenge. The only issue for me are the unnecessary requirements that are placed for unlocking parts of the game like a paywall or forced matches.

Right when you launch the game, they alert that it is in early alpha development and is subject to bugs and changes. And yet they still have the audacity to require a purchase to do anything besides the tutorial. Purchase for what? For a self proclaimed unfinished product? Furthermore, there is a label for developers to publish as a beta release, so why are you advertising it as complete? This trend of marketing and selling "alpha" projects is tiring. Finish the app before trying to sell it!

This was a great game... then an update came out taking away more than half the features and locking them away behind a pay-to-play wall. Worst decision I've ever seen a game developer make.

T70%
by T####:

plenty of challenges in designing, implementing and testing algorithms to make robots kill each other with increasing efficiency. game seems to slow down and chew resources on phone though, controls are a bit sluggish and take a second to respond.

T70%
by T####:

First off. I enjoy this game. But I'd like to bring this to your attention as I won't be paying for this until this feature is implemented. And I feel the game is worth the investment. As a programmer myself, who loves the simplicity and concept of this game. I still feel it doesn't offer enough flexibility in its visual AI programming language. Making calculated decisions and advanced logic is near impossible as it stands, I feel you should add the flexibility of declaring and reading variables to the game before it's ever pay to play. There are so many things that become possible with a few variables and some API. So please consider adding the ability to do so, or at the very least more constants. I'd like to be able to make decisions based upon the number of enemy AI's.etc. Thank you if you take the time to read. Have a nice day.

Pretty amazing, actually, with a neat gameplay and awesome base concept. But, this game is a demo, with everything besides 10 matches, the tutorial and 40% of practice behind a paywall. Demos and paid apps are alright, but passing off a free demo as the full app is dishonourable in my book.

by T####:

So disappointed that this app seems to be taking the King Zynga route. Only reason career mode is multiplayer is to push ads, and the inevitable IAP for ad free. Shame, because this one had so much potential. Edit: Doesn't change the fact, you are forced to PvP in order to unlock Single Player assets. This game would be more than worth $5, if you could use the bots without the PvP unlock requirement while playing offline. Then still have to unlock their usage in multiplayer.

T70%
by T####:

Well it would certainly be a very good game if I was able to play it past 10 games... This is a very cynical way to distribute a game. Offering to play it and then without warning, cutting you off when you have already invested time and effort into it. The frustration might explain the undervalued rating. At any rate this only prompts me to code my own game free and open source in 1 or 2 years if it doesn't already exists, I'll call it Spartacus bots :D

T70%
by T####:

It could use some polish but it really is awesome. Who doesn't like logic games? Stupid people, that's who xD. Good luck, this game can be great!

X70%
by X####:

I love the idea of the game a lot! However it seems that there is an imbalance as I rarely won a match. I understood the controls and how to program but it seemed as though my opponent had some advantage.

T70%
by T####:

It's a fantastic idea, but still flawed. Whilst the interface is slick and the game plays well, I get the impression it descends into cycles of "Try something random and see if it works.". I knew what I wanted to achieve, but found it hard to translate this into the limited options available.

T70%
by T####:

Nice concept poorly excicuted. Constantly disconnects from server. Was fine until I paid then the problems started. I won't ask for a refund because I spend more on toilet paper each time I go. I only wish I could use this app to wipe my ASS

C70%
by C####:

I love this game alot! But I have two requests, First that one can have a multiplayer mode with only assault bots. Second, that you let people give branches of code names

T70%
by T####:

The possibilities in this game are great. For once its free for 10 games only... Moreover that it does not have distance from edges and orthogonal to some vector move options. Will be more fun to add a box in which one can place his bots, not necessarily in the same place over and over. But the idea is ousum. Hope you read this and good luck.

A70%
by A####:

The game has some potential. But the developer is greedy. I will not pay to test an unfinished product.

I70%
by I####:

Great game you never feel cheated if you lose its simply because the other plate is better. Game needs more multiplayer options but with one dev it's fine.

T70%
by T####:

My only criticism is almost certainly down to this game still being in development: it'd be nice if there was some sort of hazard course you have to make the AI navigate as currently the meat of the game is resource capturing - which is incredibly fun nevertheless, it would just be nice if there was other ways to test out the AI I make. That's it though, and I would add that the developer has done an amazing job with this game. Would completely reccomend to all, it's a really fun game.

T70%
by T####:

It's different from what you usually find in the appstore. Not completely free though.

T70%
by T####:

It is great game for who like coding feel, which you need to create best algorithm for system. Game will help you to shape your algorithm in free time. It little hard in first try, but you will found fun soon if you not give up too fast.

T70%
by T####:

The game is great but it's missing a very important function, "and", you can't make two actiona happen at once which really breaks some code. Apart from that, great game!

T70%
by T####:

Free to download but you have to pay to unlock the basic game. Lousy sales tactic.

C70%
by C####:

The implementation of a logic system as the only user input to a game is a grate idea. I do feal though that the basic logic gates (and, or, not, ECT.) should be added in either a seporate branch type or under conditions. This will allow users more controll and a better understanding of how Digital electronic theory works. This can also rase interest in electrical engineering and other "steam" subjects.

K70%
by K####:

Unique concept, very rewarding. The game walks you slowly up the learning curve so I never felt lost. The fire-and-forget multiplayer battles are a great system, a very smooth experience where you can stress-test your creations.

S70%
by S####:

Really disappointing to see the game behind a paywall, would have gladly brought it if it had limited freeplay however I don't want to have to play through the tutorial, waste of my mobile data

T70%
by T####:

The programming UI is decent but the conditionals and actions allowed are so poor that coordinated attacks are impossible without tweaking starting conditions. Tedious and boring.

A70%
by A####:

It's a trial version last 10 defeats. Plus Cap level differences, not fun going up against a person that's maxed out the bots they can have and you're still lol 1. It's some BS really.

T70%
by T####:

After 9 wins and 1 loss I hit the paywall on basically everything... and I'm only 30 minutes in. This really sucks. Couldn't you just put ads in it and have a paid "remove ads" feature?

T70%
by T####:

Amazing game. I think this is actually the best possible menu system for a game so complex achievable on a rather small screen like a phone. Gameplay is amazing and it really makes you think about tactics!

T70%
by T####:

This game has what I have been looking for in a game for a long time. Customisable units and ai are things many games should strive to include

T70%
by T####:

I am a big fan of AI bot games going back to Carnage Heart for the PS1. Gladiabots is crisp and well thought out, and most importantly FUN.

Y70%
by Y####:

Carnage Hearts on PSP & PS1 anyone, but this game makes the AI configuring better & simpler. To those who complain about Demo to Full...users get try before buy and devs don't have to spend $99 on releasing a demo. I'm wondering if you have CH's - Buy & equip better parts & robot models (Armor, Rockets, Guns, etc) - A Manual-Control Ai Config - 3rd Person View other than that I hope full game doesn't need 24/7 online. Also where can I purchase for full price and not 50% off?

T70%
by T####:

Brilliant concept, highly addictive and rewarding. The interaction could do with some refinement (e.g. connecting nodes is physically tricky), but it doesn't spoil the overall enjoyment.
