Jump'N'Shoot Attack for Android
If games like Ninja Gaiden and Mega Man don't cause you to break your controller in half, you just might like this.
This game is way to hard and you need to have perfect accuracy and the worst part is there is no continues
Simple concept, with a good degree of difficulty, definitely worth a couple of quid.

Feels retro but fun
Absolutely amazing. I'm loving the game so far but I have raged quite a bit because I suck at retro games. The controls work well and once you get the muscle memory for a stage down it becomes easier also paid 2 quid for it and no ads or microtransactions. Great game and I will probably still play it even after I eventually beat it.
This is just like the AVGN video game except it's like an auto scroller where your character keeps on moving. The controls are jump and shoot that's it! Has 16 short challenging levels that will make you rage but with enough practice you'll eventually clear the level and potentially the whole game. This game is fun until you get bored of it because the replay value is low and the game doesn't offer a lot to keep you playing.
It's a lot of fun, and controls great, but it's really short. The diamonds and achievements took me about three hours to get, and I haven't gone back to it since. Kind of wish more levels would've been added post-release.
Being unable to control the character is my only complaint. But that's how the game is designed I guess.
Games old school awesomeness. Fix the glitch of continuing on the first level of a world and you've got a perfect game. Even if it's not a glitch get rid of it. Makes me not want to play any longer once I get game over.
Why dying in the first stage of an act has to count down your lives? I also think tapping the shoot button is tedious and meaningless when there's no need to save your rounds. Otherwise, great game mechanics, graphics and sounds!
Can't even open the game. Crashes immediately on startup. Emailed the developer email listed here, got a response a day later directing me to another website with my inquiry. That site is a freaking Tumblr page where I can't even submit anything!! I just want to play the game, or at least know when it will be updated to be able to run on something as common as a Galaxy S phone.
Fun and addictive. I take a star off for Screwattack being pretentious and trying to "revolutionize mobile gaming with this hardcore title" when other paid mobile games did this style of game better and smoother. If you're looking for a platformer with more content, has better controls, and just as challenging, may I point you to Rayman Fiesta Run? Doesn't make this game any less fun though.
This isn't some microtransaction ridden endless runner rubbish, this is a proper game! It uses a simple premise and controls to make an incredibly challenging but fair stage based auto running game, and it has far better level design than AVGN Adventures and its copious skull blocks. There's even some extra strategy in that running into a wall stops you in place rather than killing you, allowing you to take a moment to clear out any enemies that are immediately ahead. Highly recommended!
The only good thing about this game is the gun. It's fun to shoot. Everything else sucks (well except for the graphics). The physics are super annyoing. And the 4th world's difficulty spike is annoying and is just made to extend the length of the game. -8/8 Ign dont tak3 th3 b8 m8
When I launch the game, I see a black screen for a split second, and then I am sent back to the OS. I see no in-game assets. I have rebooted the phone, and I am still unable to run it. I am running Android 4.4.2 on a Galaxy S3. The device is *not* rooted. Emailed their support team, and waiting to hear back from them.
Make a volume adjustment feature and I will give it 5/5!
The game is fun but there should be a speed setting to slow it down or speed it up.
Game is frustrating Hard, But EASILY Enjoyable!!!
The game tries to make up for a lack of content by making the levels that it does have frustratingly difficult. That being said, tone down the difficulty slightly and add more levels and you've got a real gem!
Original review 3-29-15: It should be that, if you lose and choose to continue, you're given three lives compared to starting over with ten! Update 4-19-15: Issues with jetpack and continues fixed. It is a relief since the game is great.
A hard yet simple game. It brings back the nostalgic feeling of playing my old SNES
Game doesnt want to boot up so if you can please fix that and I will give it a better rating.
Simple concept, with a good degree of difficulty, definitely worth a couple of quid.
Fun game, plays well and is difficult
I can't even get past world 1-4 but I'm not mad because I know its my own fault not the game its hard but fair
Very simple, but addictive. By restricting the controls it allows the feel of Mega man on a speedrun, without getting too complicated for mobile controls.
The retro feel of the game takes me back and I love it.
Make an update for older phones like samsung galaxy S3
The game will not open
Can't stop playing someone help
Giving it 5 stars, because it is the only action game I have ever found enjoyable on a touch screen.
Still can't finish it but still not prepared to give up, had this been on the NES I most certainly pulled a sickie from school to get playing longer.
Excellent game design
Needs support on the Galaxy S3. Crashes instantly when trying to open the game
Yeah.
Feels retro but fun
that you could make a game that is just jumping and shooting set to auto-run interesting or even fun, and I expected that if I got it I would get bored of it within a few hours. But the lure of classic NES style games on the go got me to drop 2 bucks on it, and it was well worth it. The level design is completely based around just jumping and shooting so it never really seems to get stale.
The jump starts a little slow for my tastes, and you drop like a stone when you let go of the screen (then again, she IS a robot) but that's nothing you can't get used to. But it's still fun, and it's even cheap. Plus, the music is great.

GOSH DARN is this music good! Fantastic graphics and good mechanics too. Just too short. I really wish this were a full-fledged adventure game---Louise deserves to stand with Shovel Knight in that rare spotlight, but for $1.99, I'm not complaining too loudly. Devs, hear me. When I'm filthy rich, I'll fund your full-bodied sequel! Pizza for everyone!
