This simulator requires a high end device.
Note that this is a RC flight simulator, not a game. You might find that the controls are hard, but that's because it's made to mimic real life. It is highly recommended to use a good physical controller.

Option for low resolution mode (to be able to get higher framerate)
This is a demo with one scene only (the desert). The full version of FPV Freerider includes six sceneries and a lot of more setup options for rates, camera and physics, as well as a 3D flight mode for inverted flying.
The quad in this demo has deliberately rather sluggish settings, in the full version you can tune it precisely to your liking.
Touchscreen controls support mode 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Mode 2 is default input:
Left stick - Throttle/Yaw
Right stick - Pitch/Roll
If the simulator doesn't work on your device, it doesn't work, simple as that. Most probably nothing to be done about it. Giving a low rating does not help.
If your device supports USB OTG and you have the right cable you can try to use a USB gamepad/controller for better control.
Physical controllers are configurable between mode 1,2,3 and 4.
There is no guarantee that it will work with your device/controller, please try this free demo first to see.
Controllers that have been used successfully include Xbox, PS3, Moga and Logitech gamepads, Realflight and Esky USB controllers, FrSky Taranis and Spektrum radios. Please use this free demo version to see if it will work with your particular setup.

Plugged my Turnigy i6s directly to my phone (Xperia Z3) USB to USB, works perfectly, no special training port adapter needed, just the Other connector. Now I can sim practice anywhere! USB OTG also work on my Phab 2 Pro and Moto G1.

Can't complain about disabled feachures of free a version, however controls are too sensitive for me as well. Apart from that great quadrocopter sim out there! Flight dynamics are trustworthy! Thanks for dev I've enjoyed!

Not playable, controls feeling is very bad. Far away from PC version and even more far from real drone in acro. When powerlooping makes somthing weird when looking to sky.

Please add split-screen for cardboard/vr goggles. I'd happily buy the full version if it had that - I think that feature would make this the undisputed #1 go-to app for fpv beginners and enthusiasts.

I don't have an actual controller so could not use that as is recommended. The touch controls are much too sensitive for me. I need height hold so the quad does not do crazy stuff while I find out what next to do on the controller (total newbie). Quadcopter fx has this feature, so I am going there.

I love this SIMULATOR. Helped me a lot with eye hand coordination. Turns having the sticks "parallel". Tried with microsoft gamepad and teranis, both absolutely no problems. I'd love to see a 3d option, as in google cardboard. Also some assistance for LOS. Like inclination or g force, altitude, gimbal.

1: I can use my diy bluetooth controller (it's configurable, trimm...able) and , 2: the latest mods to the free version make the copter feel like a sluggish 1.5kg 300mm quadcopter Exactly like mine!!! Exceptional sim!

Considering buying the app, that's how good it is. Bear in mind, it's not a game so don't expect pew pew, or scores of some sort, it's meant for you to practise and crash without breaking down your rig. Highly recommend.

I'd like to see better crash/landing physics and more fun maps. Car park needs to be optimized. Nearly unplayable at anything but the lowest settings. I would buy it again.

This is a really good trial app and saved me the headache of damaging my drone and this would be one of the apps i would consider buying.... remember this is not a game but a tool to use to practice flying a drone.

Thisis a great Sim but for it to truly represent FPV, it needs GearVR support, not 3D but just the ability to wear a headset and use a TX for a truly authentic experience.

Currently I have the parrot bebop drone and I loved it the first time I flew it so I decided this was probably my new hobby, so I was looking on the play store for drone simulation games so I could get better at racing drones and this simulator was the best for racing. I have flown a racing drone and this feels a little more sensitive but it works really great!

Graphics are great, but altitude is unrealistically difficult control on my phone, even with low rates. It seems to just fly up instantly. May be better using physical controls instead of the touch screen.
