Hyper Flex for Android
I suck at this game, but I also dislike endless runner games. The music is good but the gameplay got old in the first 5 minutes (at least for me). I want to see less endless runner/puzzle games where the best thing about the game is it's visual style and music instead of core gameplay. I want to see more games like Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage or Pixel Dungeon which is why I don't think this game deserves it's current score of 4.5.
The game itself is extremely addicting, and it's tough for me to put it down. I always come back to this game, it's just so good. The music is amazing, and the little splash texts that appear everytime you die are hilarious. They're like the splash texts from minecraft, but with more variety and much more funny. Great game, would highly recommend. (no, I'm not getting anything to say this. This is a genuine review)
First the music. I don't know if its pseudo-chiptune or not but its still amazing. The color pallette and the resolution is great. The gameplay is also great. It's an infinite runner and I don't know how they did it with a seemingly tile-based system but they have all these Twisties and turnies and it really ads to the challenge. If you thought that gravity switching wasn't cool or creative anymore you are very mistaken. The devs (or dev I don't know which) truly did a good job on this game.
This little gem is probably something you've seen before. The Impossible Game, VVVVVV, 1001 Spikes. This fast paced, high stakes platformer is pleasantly reminiscent of those titles. The controls are simple, just tap to jump across the divide to avoid walls and spikes. It's hard, but just when you're about to quit, the soundtrack kicks in and you have to keep playing to hear that sweet chiptune goodness. My only request would be an option to pay 2 or 3 bucks to remove ads. Overall, an excellent game.
I love the concept of an infinite runner. This game does got pretty challenging. The only thing that is even cheap in this game are the parts which do not allow you to see your character. Other than that, most of the obstacles are fair. Also, this games music is godlike! Nice use of NES and old console samples!
There are very few games you can call perfect. This is one of them. The game is addicting and satisfying. You won't ever blame the game because you'll know when you messed up. The game is extremely well optimized, fully booting in less than 1or 2 seconds and I have not experienced any frames dropping. I have yet to encounter a bug. The art style is simple but works great with the type of game. The fact that the game is not anti-aliased means it will run faster and it gives it a retro feel to it. Good music
I don't usually write reviews for games. I think this is actually my first legitimate review for one. This game is just fantastic. Tight controls, great music, a game that rewards the player with even more content. And seeing the developers read and respond to a few of the reviews shows how much time, love, and effort was put into this project. Thank you guys so much. P.S. you guys should add the option to pay for no ads, because I would gladly do so in a heartbeat.
The game is awesome! It's very rage-inducing, but it's simple design, music and fun gameplay make the game really good! My only issue are the hitboxes. They're pretty bad, I'm not sure whether you did that intentionally to make the game harder or whether it's an issue that needs fixing.. Either way, a definite 5*!
An Amazing Challenge Such a challenge... at first I thought I would never be able to get to 1000m. But here I am. The game gets fustrating, but feels extremely rewarding when you finally get the goal. The music was composed wonderfully as well; I have always enjoyed the retro style music. This game to me deserves a perfect rating. Thank you for creating such a great game.
I didn't think the endless runner genre had any life left in it, but these guys got real creative and revived it. The music and gameplay is great. Also the death screen messages are great. Don't rate it badly just because you have a slow reaction time. That's a "you" problem
Nice look-and-feel, responsive controls, great and fitting music. The way the level bends around and introduces new structures to dodge as you go farther keeps it interesting. Only complaint is...there's no way to remove ads. When you can makes games as good as this, plenty of people will be willing to give you a few dollars to make the experience more pure :)
This game is awesome. Hopefully more phrases will be added and new spikes and formations too. The music is very cool but you should give us an opportunity to buy a gold version of sorts where there'd be no ads. Also an opportunity to buy the music lol. Oh and btw there's a typo in the phrase "we care too much"
I absolutely love this game as soon as I tried it. Quickly responsive controls (which is pretty much required in a one touch game) amazing chiptune music, and a lot of character that comes from the little announcement bar on the top when you die. I sincerely hope more phrases are added routinely, otherwise the phrases are just gonna get really annoying really quick.
0/10 the only boobs are dots and dashes. Also, to the dev(s): it's the mightiest tree in the forest, not the tallest. UPDATE: the game is still great, but i found a very rare but game stopping bug. Dev(s), if you are reading this, I can send you a screenshot of it. It occured in level 2; I was just past 800 meters probably about to win, and one section was placed in a way that was impossible to reach. I either had to run into a wall or switch gravity and fall into space.
Like an easier version of geometry dash, but endless. Fun buy needs more variety. Ps. I do think some of these reviews are faked by dev ;) had to take off a star because the text every time I die makes me cringe really hard. Random isn't funny
Job well done in making this game really hard. At first it was really annoying to die within seconds but when you keep on tryin you get the hang of it. Thats when this game becomes super fun.
Really liked the game. Had alot of fun playing and I was surprised by how many differnt combinations of obsticles there are. I love the way it looks and the whole "Heads up display" feel. I like the idea of the ticker tape, but i think it says some stupid stuff. Yall should make it where it says what you did wrong. Like" incorrct wall contact" when your on the wrong side, or tell you that you how many miliseconds you were off when you switched,"0.003 seconds early". Had fun.
Hyper Flex is a VERY hard game. It looks quite simple, and it is: just tap to switch gravity and avoid obstacles. However you will need very good reflexes to get very far, but when you best a level, it feels super rewarding. My only gripe is in the second level, occasional flashing makes it tough to see your character, making it much harder than it should be. But other than that, it is still pretty fun, and if you like games like Geometry Dash and Impossible Game, you should try out Hyper Flex.
The game is overall is amazing and addicting. The only issue is that many obstacles are difficult. Unfortunately these obstacles tend to appear after the score 400 but the harder ones appear at around 700. The worst part is that you dont really get too many opportunities to practice because you rarely make it that far. I've been at this game for hours and cant make it to 1000.
This game pisses me off to no end. And I love it for that. That background music is cool, the obstacles are interesting, and the game is set up to literally play with your reflexes. It makes you overreact and overcompensate for your decisions, which just shows how well it was set up. Simple yet stellar. Good job.
I like the idea of the game.need more level and some free level(not needed to get 1000m).i suggest dizzy mode where the lane will always moving :) nice job! Need more obstacle
This deserves more attention. Its challenging, addictive, humorous and the music is great. - I finally finished the game and the ending was too disappointing so i just felt like reducting the rating to 4 stars
Monotonous. Uninspired. Absurdly difficult. It appears to have mostly excellent reviews; obviously some gamers find it worthwhile playing. I'm definitely not one of them. With regrets, devs.
Few (well made) mobile games still challenge me. The bar is set extremely high for difficulty here and I love it. The first couple runs give a very super-hexagon-ish feel of WHAT IS GOING ON THIS IS FREAKING IMPOSSIBLE. Really good, but don't play if you're not up for the challenge.
And I don't say that very often about mobile games. Good controls, retro-style, fast paced...platforming? Not sure what to call it really, but whatever it does, it does it well.
Funny, frustrating, beautifully minimal retro art style and DANG catchy 8-bit soundtrack. Essentially VVVVVV stripped of the plot and the ability to choose to move left or right. But hey, it's free! Just don't get discouraged WHEN you fail (because you WILL) and don't take it too seriously. Besides, the references made by the flavor text upon death are half the fun!
Great game, one tap to jump up or down works really well. It's really hard to unlock the 'mystery' (I still haven't) but what's the point of playing a game if you don't want to be challenged.
Flawless except for a few collision errors here and there and a couple of freak accidents probably caused by my ass phone. The tunnel movement is a little nauseating, however. All in all, great job, dev.
Really fun game. Love the simplicity. Moves too fast though for me to avoid some of the obstacles. A speed setting would be nice to slow it down for some of us less skilled folks. :)
Simple, challenging, needs more and more variety of obstacles (maybe they could unlock with higher scores). Might be nice if you could queue a second jump. Memes every time you lose unrelated to the game (the bad kind of silly).
The gameplay and simple aesthetics pretty much incorporates tried-and-true ideas, but the author implemented them quite well. Free of charge and the advertising, if present, is not annoying to the user.
Honestly, this game is difficult. But thats what I like the most. It keeps me coming back for more. The adds are just enough and I love the music. The only thing I can think of is to add characters to unlock.
Some things about this game are a little off, a good example is the file bounce pad tile set that if you jump on at the wrong time you can hit the corner of the box at the end and die that makes this game a 4. You have the floor now you just need to polish it. I would also like to add that the banner text when you die is not good, some of it is fine other times it's basically "memez xD" needs some work, could also just be entirely removed to save some space.
Fast paced, gets harder with time, the music's good and trippy, the annoying phrases are annoying. Amazing game overall. The only complaint is that it's hard to look at for long periods of time. I would love to see an antialiasing option.
Boring ... And unneccesarily hard. Plus, music is really annoying. Overall, an idiotic game for the ones with neurotic problems.. Can't believe I wasted time with this thing..
The adverts are very intrusive... I would buy an IAP to remove ads (or a separate ad-free copy to avoid working with IAP)... Other than that, great game!
Finally made it to the end, and the mystery is.. no lie! Even after that, there are more achievements to unlock. This IS an endless runner game, so that's what i got. I like the old school graphics and music. Next stage was a bit trippy, but that made the challenge. Not sure if I'll play again for the higher achievements, but it's been fun. Ps. Knowledge is spelled wrong, at the part of the "mystery".
Like a VVVVVV endless runner. Challenging but not unfair. Please make a paid ad-free version. Also it wouldn't hurt to optimize a bit. Graphics are a bit laggy on my Nexus 6P.
I will happily pay £1.99 to remove ads. Please let us if we so please, as your game has been nothing but phenomenal.

The music and visual style come together in a way that has worked before with similar games like VVVVVV and Super Hexagon. The game feels similar to the two while the actual gameplay is completely different, and that's an awesome phenomenon. Several times while playing i actually thought i was playing one of Terry's games! Fits right into the world of Hexagon and V and yet is so unique that i can't put it down. Outstanding! Want on Steam.
