Eon Altar Controller for Android
Absolutely horrible to get set up at my college accomodation. I love this game but am convinced at least two of my six hours played on chapter one is just trying to connect my phone to the game :(
Amazing idea! I've only just started the game, so my opinion may change over time, but so far it works extremely well and is a LOT of fun. I actually hope this idea catches on more. Great job developers!!
Very clever. Good social game. Fun! More please!
Amazing game
Twizzlers is the taste
This is a controller for the Eon Alter game, so you can't actually play the game with this. However, the controller app is a really detailed app that moves all the controls from the computer the game is played on to your phone, so every player can see their own stats, gear, and abilities. My only problem with the game is there are no game controls on the app, so pausing the game to save and exit or to alter (heh) game settings like graphics or volume. The responsiveness to moving your character could use a little work too as there's a small delay between moving the cursor and the one in the game moving.
Well, the idea for a game on PC being played on your mobile is great. Still the controls are a bit tricky from time to time. So you sometimes don't know how things work. Sometimes one forgets whobis doing what (e.g. you have to click again in order to do something etc.). And its sometimes difficult looking at your phone and on the screen. Still, beside that, the game is fun and a great couch coop rpg experience. I want more!
Idea of a game on PC using a companion app is cool. But.. I dislike it. Game on PC has the graphics of an old trash mobile game. The controls? Well you are controlling with the app.. So mobile trash controls with poor responsitivity. PC always been superior to mobile for controls and graphics. Why trying to port a mobile game on PC? With all the weakness of a mobile game and no strengths of the PC? So yes, the app itself worked as intended but is the combo mobile-PC good? In my opinion, it's not. Mixing mobile app + PC could be great if a dev find the great idea to mix them together. Eon Altar is not this game yet.
While I love this game, it seems to have one major flaw. The app should be able to hold your character from campaign to campaign. This way a couple people could grind up to a higher level separately before playing together.
A bug made the crusader unplayable and the game would not advance. After doing the unskippable intro 3 or 4 times with out the bug resolving, even in a new game we gave up.
Couldn't get past a few minutes in the game due to disconnecting. Once reconnected, the in game dialogue did not continue. Cool idea but not currently playable.
Worked great on my S6, had a blast with my firends. Cant wait for more content. Hoping to see more classes and branching quest paths.
A cool idea but found the controls too unwieldy at times and the gameplay grinds to a halt too often.
Great game. One of the best i played lately. Mind you, a pc connected to the tv ia needed
Love the game. Waiting for the next episodes.
Cool game to play with your friends
Great work...Keep it up!!
Amazing combo
Me and my partner plays games together on the PC and PS4 but weren't really see each other but while playing with this game / app we get to play in the same room and I can watch his face expression to see if he's telling the truth or hiding a secret haha I give it a 5/5 can't wait for the next episode to come out thank-you so much for this game
This game is awesome. Go out and buy it on steam (It's like $6), then download this. I met some of the devs at PAX, they're super great guys. Plus the game is probably the single best couch co-op games out there.
Amazing new couch co-op concept. Absolutely recommended ! Basically it is like a role play game with your friends.
Super fun co-op TV RPG
Hreat concept, great game!
Dude Marr!!
This game and new controller app is next level. I was skeptical at first but once I started playing it blended together with the game perfectly. Spread the word for this masterfully crafted game and great group fun!
I was sitting with my little brother and the thought crossed my mind (as it had many times before) that there had to be some form of rpg game that plays more in a board game manor, so we looked it up and found this game and have had a great time so far! Super stoked on this game!
Feels slow at first (steep learning curve), but then it really gets exciting. Feels like Four Swords Adventure!
I am totally blown away at how well this controller works and how much fun the game is. Me and my husband love it!
The game itself is easy to pickup and play. Would recommend getting it in steam.
Make more missions and stuff
Great game. App works on cell phone. Tablet Nexus 10 had issues where prompts didn't appear until restarting my tablet after installing
Only issue is that the connection can be glitchy. It'd finds the game one moment, then it'll disappear. Also, once people started joining, it didn't allow more than 3 people to join. So to make it work, we made sure the game session was visible to all 4 players before we all entered simultaneously. This game is great despite the connection glitch! I can't wait for the next episode!
Astonishingly cool game! Would highly recommend it for one of the best couch co-op experiences around!
Good times
With their mobile controller concept I believe eon altar have inspired a whole new genre of gaming and I am sure many more games follow suit
App works great with no issues and the controls are easy to learn. Remember this is just the controller app. The game is on steam now for £4.99 and it's worth every penny. If u love table tops then this is a must to try.
Game is very well implemented but when played with a not so strong Wi-Fi connection for both server and controllers lag tends to aggravate players. A really good game otherwise so make sure to have a high speed (AC) wireless and a good signal coverage before delving deep with more than one player.
Unique concept and an actually fun game. There were some problems with trading and save points before, but the devs have fixed those!
Very basic Gauntlet style game with some D&D elements. Graphics are decent, needs a map interface. Lots of potential here with the way this game interfaces with phones and tablets as your character's "player sheet". I hope it sticks around.
