Trenches of Europe

Clearly the developer(s) were not serious when making the game. The text that appears when you start a game has horrible grammar and spelling. And you can't choose where to fire the artillery, it fires in the centre of the screen, so you can't use it in the far right of the map. Also. The levels get harder and harder, which is good of course, but when you get to lvl 18/20 there is no way to win. Whatever tactic you use, you brutally lose. The enemy has 6 artys, 1 gas, and infinite troops and resources. If you survive the gas attack you are still short on resources and you will be destroyed by artillery before you get new resources. Which allows the enemy to walk over to your side.

The original version on the internet is better. The artillery is pretty crappy. Just not a good remake of the game. They may say this is the original but the pc has been out longer then smart phones. The "creators" get butt hurt over a bad review of an overall garbage game.

Crappy version of a similar game I played a while ago. Wouldn't bother as all you have to do is spam riflemen. Response from the developer in "text speech" ("u" instead of "you", and "lol") proves this is a school project probably graded about C-. A for effort though kiddo.

Great job, but a couple complaints. 1.) Not enough unit types, or tanks/planes. 2.) Grammar. Just read your replies to reviews, mate. Google Translate doesn't always work... 3.) Enemy Artillery. They have basically a 100% guarantee to kill at least 2 of your men, sometimes while deploying $100s worth of squads, none of them even make it to the first trench. *Level 18* Overall, decent game with some potential.

It was ok, but if you want a more immersive experience, I'd suggest adding aircraft and tanks, but for all that you can visit another game (trenches of war). It also is very easy to win games by just spamming the rifle-man icon and overwhelming purely with numbers and no skill at all.

The gas mask system is quite annoying. You have to pay for more gas masks everytime your units come onto the field, or they die instantly. Severely limits what you can do.

The advance troops button is in a spot I press on accident scrolling across the battlefield. I wish the enemy would build large advances and not just trickle towards the front line. The wallet limit of 500 is small when you want to save for a really huge push. It's all luck when using artillery. I'm gonna keep the app for future updates because in the end I did enjoy it.

I think its amazing how the developers can talk smack to the people that played their game and didnt like it. You wouldnt have to come back with a smart comment DNS, if you would make a game that functioned the way that your reviewers are asking for :)

My biggest problem is with the artillery. I can take 3 shots (for a total of 9 rounds) and hit one of their guys (who was surrounded with 3 others) and slightly damage one of their bunkers. They'll take one shot and 90% of the time, they're hitting at least one of my guys, if not 2-3. I use this scenario because this exact thing just happened. Besides the artillery, pretty decent game.

Got better with the update. The gas mask and the artillery pointer make it challenging and more fun. I just completed the game. Wish there were more levels. I would love to see a short storyline leading into each battle. Reminds me strongly of the web game Warfare 1917. I like this one better though. Weapon upgrades would be great.

Really good game. My one complaint is that player artillery is kinda useless, while AI artillery is a laser guided sniper seeking bomb.

Good bit very short. Tbis means I will have to go through all the missions again as I have it uninstalled when finished.???? Some clear information and strengths and weaknesses of each unit would be nice too

Awesome game. Make it a little better by adding things like trench upgrades, and different enemy ai tactics because I found myself using the same strategy each game, still loads of fun tho

Great that there's not alot of ads. But there is not alot of troops to pick from and maybe add more personal and add tanks and planes for bombing runs or something . You should make the graphics better as they look really bad and I can't tell how to use gas as there is no tutorial or instructions for this game. Good game with even better potential if you try to make the game better but please listen. Please listen to the reviewers if you don't THANKS!!!

Trenches of Europe made me think that it was about great WW1 battles such as the Somme, Verdun, Ypres and Gallipoli. But no, greeted with "you are the commander of the American expeditionary force" slammed shut any hope of this being a well researched WW1 game. Uninstalled

Its a little fun but the artillery is useless while the enemy arty is perfect. The graphics are kinda bad and it seems like a similar game but worse. The game had no role play ability because it forces you to be a American Expeditionary force leader.

1.) I think the game is fine. I'll read some of the other reviews saying it is impossible to beat, I completed the game in an hour. Levels 18 - 20 are completely possible, it takes artillery luck. You need to bomb the bunkers until they are gone. Every time you destroy one it gives you money to buy more artillery. But even while that is happening you need to have some troops on the field or the enemy units will come to your side and win. 2.) The Grammar is not the best. When you make a game it should at least have good grammar. 3.) I don't like how inaccurate the artillery is. 4.) The gas masks don't appear on new troops. 5.) There are only 20 levels. A game I found similar to this is trench assault 2. That games has 50< Levels, but I like the way this game is better with troops. I like how you can buy more troops. [I give this game 4 stars. It or well done, but could use a few improvements.]

Awesome game. Very strategic when it comes to gas attacks and taking bunkers. Maybe add the MK. V tank or biplanes to make the battle bigger!

Super fun game, you could add a character with a flame thrower just so that it is easier to clear out enemy Trenches. Also if you can, add multiplayer player!! :)

The game is great but I cannot beat the last level. I keep throwing wave after wave of men at the camo bunker but it never even gets damaged :/

The enemy snipers hit from way back and just lay waste to my troops how is that fair not sure how the gas works and maybe add tanks and upgrades

It's an Awesome game and is challenging can't wait for the next update cause 20 levels gave me two or three days of entertainment

It's a real good game, I love world war 1 and this game is awesome the only thing I ask is please add better graphics, it looks like a 5 year old learning about the great war

The Second last level is the biggest pain in the ass. I can't pass it. The enemy artilery just destroys anything I spawn. Fix it please

Game becomes way to difficult at level 17. Your artillery seems to land wherever and the enemies is dead on constantly.

In my opinion the game is very good but can be a bit short but it is good for time killing

I've seen this done better (Warfare1917), artillery on your side is worthless, as it cannot be aimed lv 1-14 are beaten easily by rifleman spam, and gas masks work terribly (Make it so any current friendly troops and any troops deployed in the next. 30 seconds get gasmasks).

Fun but lacked diffuculty and the amount of troops it would be good for a diffuculty setting and more units like an artillery a bunker tanks ect but otherwise i recommend to get this

It was OK but after doing 10 battle it just gets boring

It was ok for the beging until I hit a snage but it still is the bomb

The most entertaining part of this game was reading the reviews and seeing the developer act like a child when faced with criticism

Good game good graphics the money on the other hand does not add up quick enough it's hard when you're artillery rounds are not strong enough to knock out the bunkers or cannons and gas in the final rounds however you can't just keep trying to knock out the bunkers with your Rifleman if they can't get close enough makes very hard and frustrating please consider making your money move a little faster so you actually have a Fighting Chance

I thinks it's a great strategic game it's addicting. The intensity keeps growing in each level I look forward for new levels and improvements to graphics and types of soldiers.

One of the best i've played, sad that the big gaming companies make garbage for money instead of games as good as this one

I think this game is good and all but how the enemy can have all this stuff and how they produce troops so fast and with just a couple of troops and they're so expensive

Some more unit variety would be nice but other than that great game

I like it I'm at Lev 15 an I just down loaded it but I do play a bunch of war games so its not hard love the game its kinda fast paced but fun at the same time I hope to see more guns like the maxmus for the troops for the alided an mg 35 for the axis b it still its a good game an tanks their wearv3 one was a mg tank the French had a big one I thank it was the mk an the axis had one don't know what that one was called an plains biplanes for air support buds this game rocks just the was it is keep up the good work the graf are like stick fig but ty for that ww 1 was bad with the gas an all for both sides an the trench take overs but all in all its very very kid an grown up friendly nice work ty ohhh I found you can aime the artlery you just scroll left an right an kinda juge I can take out gas thir artlery an buildings just by doing this guys good game I love it keep it up an this game will be a grate game its a good foot print now guys keep it up high five

Pls add mk 1 tanks or the female version so its not OP

Really cool, plz add different types of tanks and bigger battlefields as well.
