If your friends cannot see your scores on leader board and you are not together in a google+ circle, when looking at the leader board, slide the switch on the top from SOCIAL to ALL.

If they still don't see you, you need to tap THREE DOTS in leader board and go to SETTINGS and EDIT PROFILE to select the options to show your profile and scores to everyone else.
