Diskobolos drops you into a Tron-like world, where you must defend yourself against the weird, insectoid creatures invading your space. To do this, you'll have to shoot them down with the discs you have at your disposal, which you launch by tapping. You'll get bonus points for bouncing the discs off the walls, and for chaining combos by hitting multiple enemies. While the game starts off slow, it ramps up fairly quickly, and the action never stops. Enemies get tougher, dangerous elements begin to appear on the playfield, and once you've unlocked them, you'll need to take full advantage of the power-ups you're assigned. Wrapped up in the great luminous wireframe style that arcade aficionados will remember fondly, Diskobolos will capture your attention and keep you returning for more. -- via Best Apps Market
