Orbit - Playing with Gravity for Android
I love gravity games. I always was looking for orbit games. There were a few ugly ones and I hated them. I didn't expect much but this one is so beautiful. When I heared Claire de Lune I got kind of sad but somehow felt good and finally got sleepy. Thank you, mate! Will buy sandbox
I downloaded this awhile ago and it was beautiful, smooth and lots of fun!! But for some reason I uninstalled it. I reinstalled it today and it's very laggy. When I opened the menu and went to main levels, there is only one level and when I tap on it, it registers that I've tapped, but just sits there and doesn't take me anywhere. This makes me sad because I remember loving it and now it doesn't work
This game had the longest time loading and when I pressed level 1 then it crashed and I loaded it again and it loaded longer. I dont think people that arent paceint to get this game.
So i been working overnights alot latly and im always drained. Im a heavy gamer but i found this one night, and omg its super relaxing. Most mobile games are down right frustrating and pressure u into needing micro transactions to succeed. This game? Nah just sit back space out and enjoy this mesmerizing adventure of planets, gravity, and vivid colors. 5/5
Within a few seconds of gameplay on all three of my android devices (Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 3.3 Jellybean, ALCATEL ONETOUCH PIXI 3 Android 4.4 KitKat, and Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 6) It crashed. If it didnt crash, the devices hit temperatures exceeding 50 degrees celsius. Well done. You killed their batteries well and truly, they will never be the same after hitting temps like that. EDIT: Tried it again. IT CRASHED THE ALCATEL. I had to soft reset it!
I don't like to play games with the sound on. This one won't remember preferences so i have to turn sound off every time. It also won't allow music to play if listening to your library or streaming. 4-5 stars only if these weren't true...
Great game and mechanics, but I just can't run intone my HTC desire 812. 500mb of ram is nowhere near enough for this, would recommend having 2gb to run smooth. Strange because I can run so many other big games, is this one just poorly optimised or are there too many background features we don't know about? Had to uninstall, but if I had a better phone would give 5 stars.
I love apps like this and I was super impressed by this game. It's beautiful the music is tasteful and not annoying. The gravity paths of the planets are realistic and the interface is simple. But only 10, maybe 15min into playing my phone starts flashing and warning that it's over heating. Its too bad cause this was going to be one of my new favourites. :'(
Played the first couple of levels, was just getting into the game when the first ad appeared. It was followed by a second before I could x out, and then took me to the play store 3 times before I closed the app and uninstalled.
It's strangle fun and adickting. The classical piano being played in the background makes it very relaxing and the songs that are used work very well with what is happening in the game. The most frustrating thing is that it keeps crashing
Fun and interresting. Glad i gave it a try at least. Id play longer if the background could be made black. The white is just too blinding for evening gaming.
I am a huge space geek amazed with orbits and every single thing that holds our universe together. I love this game. I gave it a 4star rating because you have to purchase to have even any version of sandbox. If it had a small less complex sandbox I would have given it a 5star rating
It might be alright, but there is next to no explanation in game as to what the rules are. Also no instructions. I just randomly shoot balls until it says i win. There are far better games that are similar, but better made. Dont install. Cheap garbage. Hope you like that cheftan
It is awesome! It's really simple and can get challenging, I also find it has a relaxing quality. However, whenever I play it, all of a sudden it just randomly closes and restarts itself. I didn't have this problem before, I will try uninstalling and then reinstalling
Chetan I've never in my life have written a comprehensive review of anything, let alone a game..But boy, I had to for this one. This is as therapeutic as it can be. Beautifully crafted. Elegantly designed. Impeccably executed. Never stop doing these. I hope to see more from you. All the love in the world..Or orbit. -AM
Fun, but really? Why put a mostly white screen? Don't you know that display takes up the lions share of battery power? Please put in a color reverse option. I'm not playing if 20 minutes takes up 40% of my battery.
It's simply gorgeous to look at, and the music is calming and beautiful. But there are definite performance issues. Had stutter, frame rate drops, and the music stalled and then just stopped altogether. It froze and crashed a couple of times. And the last time it froze and I had to force close it. I want to rate this app higher, but until some of the kinks get worked out I can't give it more than 3.
This is a lovely, relaxing, challenging game, but there are a couple of issues; firstly, there is one setting you can change - sounds on/off, but it doesn't remember the change. If I turn sound off it's for a reason, don't turn it back on again until I ask you to. Secondly a dozen or so levels in you need precision, but, with my combination of finger and screen size at least, there is none the tiniest movement adjusts the trajectory hugely and there is no way to alter this. With those two issues addressed this would go up to a four or potentially a five.
The game is awesome and i recommend to everybody! I very much like to buy the full version but unfortunately i have problem doing so. I can't find the button for purchase the full version. On the no-add pop up i dont see a button to buy or to exit from the window and every time i go in there i need to exit the app. Pls help! My phone is Cat S30
Its a very good game very addictive. But everytime the add window pops it just dont go away and I have to start the game again. Please fix this problem. Last but not the least... This app consumes lot more RAM than it should.
Very well-made game with great details, and a great sandbox mode. The music is very peaceful, which adds well to the play style of the game as well. I would've preferred the blip about reviewing the game show while I'm at the menu after a few maps rather than between levels. Overall though, I do recommend it.
A wonderful stress free and relaxing game. It has a beautiful minimalist look and a challenging but fun game that doesn't rely on a fast pace to make it engaging. You can do the main levels, levels other players have created, or make your own.
Even on data, really? How about on WiFi only? I'm not sure if you are aware of this, but ads actually cost data and why bother play a game when every other levels cost data when its not even an online multiplayer game? I'm sorry but its an easy decision for me. 1 star and deleted
Disgraceful experience destroying amount of ads by a greedy developer (who is even using Unity Personal Edition). The concept is fine but its ruined by terrible twitchy controls. Not worth the money they earned throwing ads in my face.
Well, love the concept. Love the controls as well but I just don't ever buy anything so don't take it the wrong way. If I absolutely craved it maybe I would buy things then but I'm not. Over all this game is simple. But that's what makes it perfect. Looking for a decent space game as well. Maybe this developer will or can make one.
Really really love this game so far. What I also love more is how the user has politely requested the player to rate his game, also apologizing when an ad is displayed and politely asks them to buy the ad-free version. Love your customer service as well. Keep it up!
This game has an awesome concept and I want to love it but it's so hard. Can't get past a couple levels before getting frustrated that everything I try gets messed up. The mechanics are very delicate.
Must change display so it doesn't chug battery life. Also, slight gradients on the orbs and adding spin as well as an ability to add moons / comets / stars (instead of only planets and black holes) and since the music is the only preference, maybe just have a music on/off toggle where "preferences" list. Also, being able to set a quick restart point would make it way more fun too. This game needs a zoom function and larger play area too, would be loads of fun making entire systems
I'm very emotional right now. This game has the Mal Mal for your eyeball so soothing and luscious and immersive and also one more thing it's really leisurely it's like a cerebral loincloth. You will relieve yourself of all your cares as you said planets swirling beautifully around the holes of Blackness. I'm really enjoying myself right now I'm going to get back to playing I just wanted to suggest that you put this in the little memory thing on the screen a thing. Okay kids I'm going back to the internet
Orbit is a fun, original, and well crafted physics game from a small, and obviously passionate developer. The game revolves (haha accidental pun) around a mechanic of launching various sized planets into orbits around black holes. Different twists to this mechanic are added one by one at a very natural pace that challenges you to come up with increasingly creative orbits. The game sports a simplistic but beautiful art style that I'd very good at making everything clear from the beginning. Great game!
Although it may be a bit hard to handle it does have nice physics to it. Isn't one of those time wasting games like temple run and has some curiosity. Strongly recommend getting it
Great game! Can spend a long time replaying levels just for the pure fun of the orbits. I'd personally like it if the planets collided differently. For example, if planets explode on impact into a new smaller unit ( Asteroids or dust ) and then only the asteroids don't explode when hitting each other, instead combining until being large enough to reach " planet " size.
I really like the concept of this game, I've never seen anything like it before. It's very easy to learn but gameplay itself is challenging and holds one's interest. A very colorful and fun game, I would recommend this game to everyone.
I seen such a gravity simulation. So, not much orginality to be fair. Excellent excecution with the visual and tranjectory path. Doesn't feel that rewarding finishing the level. And it urges you to buy always. So yeah. 3/5
Good game, albeit a bit short. Nice use of physics which creates not only an enjoyable game, but also teaches how masses interact with each other due to gravity.
Thank you for actually giving the option to remove ads in your game! So many developers just shove in ads but don't offer a way to get rid of them. The game is also wonderful. I'll pay for Sandbox mode as soon as I have some free cash.
ITS LOVELY! its a nice relaxing and passive game but also one that includes thought and calculation. chetan, this is quite the game youve made! its also very nice that thre are messages from you throughout the game and have an apology and explanation of each ad. i wish i could purchase something from this game (however i forbid myself from making in game puchases) to support you! i hope this game grows to be profitable and widely popular.
This game is of course fun playing with orbits of objects - you can do it in real time too. But what I really liked was the atmosphere and action that can play in your mind. Great music befitting this narrative I would come up with each time I tried to establish stable orbits for multiple planets. Colorful worlds narrowly escaping certain destruction from collisions, only to have their close shave with death corrupt their trajectories into the dark supermass.
I am sure that I will be able to stop playing it someday. Maybe with the right support group I can escape it gravitational pull. But for now I'm looking for the slot on my phone to insert money. This game might get me to re-enter the banking world later today when they open. If you don't support this dude you suck!!!

Totally mesmerizing. With the music and the simple but elegant graphics you feel like you're making art as much as playing a game. I can't wait to share this with my kids. What a gem!
