VR Island for Google Cardboard for Android
Good visuals, but unfortunately the visuals are a bit to great and too complex for regular smartphones to handle. As a result the game runs at a very low and bad frame rate. Unless you look up in a direction that nothing is located in and only move straight. The whole point of vr is to enable the player to look around, and with the bad frame rate, it sort of takes away ability. If the creator could fix these issues this would be a lot of fun, but it doesn't look like that's coming any time soon.
Looks great but runs horribly on Samsung Galaxy S6 which is a high end phone. Pretty sure it might have to do with the ads during gameplay. Either way, unplayable on Google Cardboard
I was looking forward to play this game but the app opens and then closes saying the game has stopped
I like the graphics on the island and the ship, but no sound and it kept trying to make me fly. I play my sound machine for the ocean, and a little Jimmy Buffett music to use this as a nice get away. But is there something that can be done about the flying?
Really good vr really nice graphics but very jerky
I can't look around or move back :(
(sarcasm)
When you first start you just hold the screen but you can't turn you just walk forward in till you fly into the sky. If could rate 0 stars I would.
Every time I start it up.
The island was do real ut was like I was there LOST also a little annoyed by adds
It wont let me open the app... It crashes every time
Its 2fps im not kidding
I couldn't move or look any- where. Then when I took off my VR glasses it just started lagging like crazy! I would not recommend this app. I give this app a 1 star review.
I like it but the framerate is terrible. The graphics quality is amazing but i think its too good for mobile devices to handle. All other vr apps run fine on my samsung galaxy s4
There are so MANY ads it ruins the game and you cant look around
It doesnt even work you have to go upside down to go to the village
That was the most fake game ever in my life.now l'm so mad that who ever made this game.
I tried this and it didn't work Don't buy it and waste your space what a load of Crap
it was ok but not as good as I thought it would be
Need to do something about the lag
Great experience but can you let it smoother i got low FPS with a LG G2 even with no ads. Also can you add multiplayers to explore the island, people around surfing, skydiving, etc, would be nice, and adding gamepad support too
Quality not as good while in cardboard and a little laggy and glitchy when walking on water
Its literally not working at all. It starts up but then crashes
Loads, loads, loads, displays too-small screens for 3 seconds, then crashes. Every time. Uninstalled.
Good graphics but no sound, no gamepad support
Doesn't work. Simple..
Really good vr really nice graphics but very jerky
low fps, please fix it !
Tried on my phone multiple times. It crashed every time.
Needs something to stop us for flying and needs something to prevent us from going through other objects. Its also slow.
Advertising in cardboard, itiots!
Dosnt f**cking work, fix it or give up
An ad across the sbs that is not even sbs ruin even trying this. What I did see what ghosted and sucks. Rate this a 1, get this ad wear junk off the store
Whenever I try to play it, it just goes back to the Google play open screen! it's stupid and does not work
Nice
Using Nexus 6
Ruined by an ad banner at the top of the screen and choppy performance (it gets maybe 10fps at best)
Ummm, I have a brand new samsung galaxy s6, and this game gets about 2 fps, seriously, just... seriously
low frame rate on my galaxy s6. will probably run perfect if it was the superior iphone

In Google Cardboard, the convergence is wrong and I start seeing double at a certain distance. I also have a cheapo headset with variable focal point which corrects the convergence, but it doesn't have a trigger control so all I can do is stand in one spot. Framerate isn't great, but the visuals are as good as what's shown. I didn't notice any drift, so that's good, too. I'd give it a five star rating if the convergence got fixed or if there was a setting to manually adjust it since everyone's eyes differ.
