Ping

Ping is a free lightweight retro style game designed by psychologist Vernon Stokoe and developed by Striking Solutions Ltd.

If you are tired of complicated and obscure games you should try it out.

Ping is super simple, there is only one easy-to-use control. All you have to do is keep the ball on the screen, but this is harder than it looks. Move the bat by sliding or tapping your finger on the bottom oval. Test yourself and challenge friends to beat your score.

Tap "score" to see the top 5 world scores, as well as your own best score highlighted in blue at the bottom.

Tap "sound" to adjust the music and sound effect volume.

Ping's unique approach is to follow the early gaming structures, and just like those first arcade games Ping is built entirely out of code including all of it’s music and graphics. There are no bitmaps used in the game design.

Due to optimized coding it has an incredibly small (< 1.3 Mb) APK size which results in very fast loading times and consumes only a tiny amount of your phone's memory. There are no full-page ads or in app purchases, only a small banner at the top of the screen.
