Like other strategy games a player may not move an opponent's piece on board. The player with the light pieces moves first unless stated otherwise. A move consists of moving a piece diagonally to an adjacent unoccupied square. you should learn the strategy, If the adjacent square contains an opponent's piece, and the square immediately beyond it is vacant, the piece may be captured (and removed from the game) by jumping over it.

The game is rigged so the computer always wins. In a normal game of checkers the king can't jump across the board in one move, and a black/red piece cannot move backwards. It can move diagonally.

The game of checkers is played around the world and by the tens of thousands of people young and old. All can challenge all. Why is this so. Simplicity. Can not be more simpler. An unspoken language so simple. Sit down chip the board. Begin the game. Simpler than chess and still keep you undecided about moves, counter moves, and yes, a sneaky Deceptive sticky tricky move with a single jump the board is swiped clean leaving you with out a clue as to how that boastful little you just lost your "LUNCH MONEY".

The game tells u how to make your next move and it doesn't have to, not sure how some people define a game cheating but sometimes it is unfair. Other than that its a pretty good game.... (sidenote) i think i just hate losing lol
