The game, “Where is it? What is it?” was created for the launch of the Direction de l’habitation’s (Housing Department’s) new website, habitermontreal.com, which is aimed at all people who love Montreal and are looking to buy property in their cherished city.

The free application allows you to participate in the game “Where is it? What is it?” by accumulating points every time you upload a photo of a recognizable architectural detail that you like and that was taken in Montreal.

Upload a photo of your favourite spot in Montreal, locate it using your smart phone’s georeferencing tool, zoom in to frame the image from which other players will have to guess where the photo was taken… in just a few seconds, you will have earned 5 points!
