Would be a great game if you could mark the squares that you know must be water. Without that feature you lose the logic part of the game and it becomes more of a trial and error game

This is a game like no other. It's not REALLY like minesweeper - it's much better! And it beats sudoku and that silly Princess Nurikabe game hands down! Excellent job, developers!

I love nurikabe (the original name of this puzzle) but this is a terrible implementation. It's a fixed sequence of 'levels,' which is absurd for a logic puzzle akin to sudoku...I guess they wanted it to seem like angry birds or candy crush? But the interface is a perfect failure. It gives you no way to mark the 'water' squares--only the 'land.' The way you solve nurikabe is by doing both at once...I know this has to be water, so this has to be land...and you can't do that here. No good at all.

The 20 free levels are a nice puzzle and a bit different to the norm but certainly not good enough to buy the rest of the levels. Now I stalled as completed in an hour.

Nice presentation and the best implementation of this type of puzzle I've tried. The only challenge is the puzzles not the game mechanics. A reset level button would be nice though.

Fun at the beginning but becomes boring and repetitive quite soon. The interface is also locked in portrait mode and there is no scaling which results in annoying scrollbars. Bought the advanced pack but got bored. Alas. Nice graphics and good gameplay though.

I can mark something as land, but i really want to be able to mark something as definitely water, sort of like putting a flag down in mine sweeper. Also, the interface for showing 2x2 blocks of water is a bit intrusive.
