Galaxy of Pen & Paper

Doesn't work on Samsung galaxy tab s3. At the first loading screen, the music stops and nothing loads. Don't lose your time with unfinished game. Dev should not be allowed to release and charge for game that doesn't work.

There is a potential for the game of the year somewhere buried in the unoptimised UI. The story arc feels slightly hacky and getting a spaceship feels unrewarding, mostly because you didn't fight for it and it was basically handed over to you on a plate. The graphics are a big improvement over the earlier games in the series, specially the animations. The game somehow still feels like its in beta. The ui is too small for mobile screens, the text is unoptimised and it all seems like a direct port from PC rather than a ground up development for Android. The point is, the game feels rushed and it shows. Load times are aweful. Several transitions are unoptimised, specially when switching from one character to another. There's no explanation for regular healing, like camping, unless your party dies and is restored in the medbay. There's still a lot of things that are incomplete in the game and it shows. So if you're looking to buy it right now, I'd say wait for some time as they fine tune and optimise it for Android. It's not there yet.

I love both KoPPs, this one is lined up to be great as well after all the bugs are squashed. I'm playing on a Galaxy S6 and don't have any issues with freezing or loading but there are still plenty of game mechanic bugs, some of which can be game breaking.

I have some issues and the bug report button on the app doesn't seem to work (the app freezes; same issue with the 'Back to Menu' button). 1. When battling opponents that can summon the same time of enemy (ei. Exantula, Bobbies), the summoning goes on a loop that only elevates the difficulty. 2. Showoff's ability to counter, returns damage but applies debuff on self. 3. Simeans' ability to attack adjacents sometimes damages own party. 4. When meeting the boadgamer via 'space talk', whatever choice is made is met with a black screen. Edit: added #4. raised to 4☆ because of the update though my issues are still not addressed.

It's kind of underwhelming if you've played any of the other of pen and paper games. It's decent, but way more complex than needed. A minor gripe is how the game is landscape only. It's not a major deal breaker, but the game would be more comfortable to play if it could do both.

I loved it. But there still some bugs. Some of them prevent me drom playing, like getting stuck after selecting my save. I am not mad about it because I believe these guys work hard and they will fixed it soon. But id you'll buy it, it's better to know that you may get stuck sometimes

Can't open, it black screens the second I try to open the app and just freezes there. Maybe an issue with the new Oreo update? Big fan of their other games though, hopefully I can try this one!

I think this game is a big let down for all the players lovers of kings of pen and paper 1 and 2... I regret buying it... I think the company has the possibility of doing better.

Such a disappointment coming from Knights2.. Feels like either a knock-off or an early beta: glitchy, not optimised for a phone at all (both UX and performance), lots of lag and loading screens. Weird design choices as well: no easily available SP regen, ship's shields doesn't work at all, your chars can be 1-shot unless you invest in loads of +hp gadgets, and so on.

When I saw pen and paper 3 I was super excited. This version is not even fun though. I'm going back to knights of pen and paper until this gets a big update.

Could be great, needs some work though, small bugs e.g. skill scrollbar not always working, loading times, no portrait mode (like in the earlier games). Music is epic, graphics are good, plenty of humour. Fix the issues and it could just as good as knights of pen and paper.

Epic game ! Needs more character choice and classes

Once again Behold puts out a great little RPG with tons of hilarious references and a lot of party customization. No IAP and contains everything the PC version has. Amazing for the price!

Best game I've played in a long time on my phone in really hope more story's get added in in the future!

Cannot access system where planet x and corallifrey eventhough the mission creation has it as an option. Also there is bug after i finish the game when back to clarke system all the nodes become unknown, and when i go back after i rediscover it, it become unknown location once again. After all, great game and epic plot must i say.

Outside of all the things other people listed that make this game not as good as the knights. Well, I just updated and my game with all my characters level 20 is gone. I update thinking maybe some glitches will be fixed. Maybe it'll run better. Much to my disappointment I see 3 slots saying new game. I wanted to finish the story at least.

Of the three installments, this is the one I dislike. I have the other two pen and paper knights on my phone and in Steam. I like them very much. I would have returned this game, but I was outside the return window by the time I tried it. This one is slightly different the the others. I don't like the gameplay or the story, so far. It doesn't run well my phone. There are long loading times and it often crashes.

Looks like Behold thinks this game is done and complete, no updates to fix this mess in weeks. Wow this game needs some polish. It really should have sat in bug fixing class for another few weeks. Load times that rival a phone boot up are painful. Five minutes of playing and my N6P is on thermal throttle, the game music and animations noticable slow to a crawl. Exiting the game takes just as long as starting it. And let's not forget landscape only. Now the video stuttering has intensified and they've added jittery audio to go with it. This game doesn't hold a candle to the fit and finish of KoPaP+1. #disappointed

I loved both of the knights game and I want to love this one, but currently it has a lot of glitches that needs to be worked out. Right now I'm having issues with shields suddenly not working in the middle of a boss fight. When I try to submit a bug report it won't submit. Once they get the glitches worked out, I'm sure like this a lot more. I'm also having issues where you can't heal ai companions and when they die it fails the mission. I have lost over 300 points of rep because of this.

Very fun game and definitely worth the purchase. The only reason I couldn't give 5 stars was that I was really craving a jedi-like class to go with the sci-fi theme. Only to go through the game and discover it didn't exist. Disappointing, but a great game nonetheless and again, worth the price.

WE NEED CLOUD SAVES. Text is sooooo tiny! I can barely play the game on a 5.5 inch screen, the text is hard to read. there's no portrait mode like the previous ones...

Game loading take a while but after that is better, lots of improvement from when just release. But could do better as levelling don't do much especially when you already get the skills you need and SP become a waste, something should be done about the extra SP. I'm level 20+ nesr 30 but lv19 mob will take me many turns to kill as the scaling is bad especially with the skills unlike the first game. Only have slot for gadget and no slot for weapons and armour although you can purchase upgrades and still don't do much. Want to love this game but many small factor make the game feel like a drag playing it unlike the first KOPAP

I love everything about this game! So why only 3 stars? Well the game still takes quite some time to load (Shield tablet so not hardware) and it has some missing features from the other Pen and Paper games. There is no point in leveling up past getting all the skills you want to use. I have a few characters now sitting on 9+ skill points because all the other skills they have do not match with the play style I am running. The only benefit to leveling now is the slight stats increase. There needs to be an option to invest skill points into pure stats. There is also no point in getting better dice for your ship. Every time you move to a better die, all of the enemy ships do too. Oh look you went from a D6 to a D8? All of the other ships just went from D8 to D10 systems. You never get the feeling of progression with the ship because of this. Outside of those things it is an amazing fun romp through the stars! I really wish I could rate it higher.

Game is good but takes SO LONG TO LOAD. On my Pixel phone, it takes almost a minute to get past the patch screen, the logo screens, the loading screen, the save file screen, the loading screen again... it's impossible to play casually because it takes so long to start.

I really like the gameplay but this game is crazy buggy. I probably won't touch it again until it all ironed out. Can't refund it so I'm stuck doing that. It's a bummer because I really liked knights of pen and paper.

Five minutes and my phone become hot,loading time still the same, the lag has been fixed but not all of it..for now i cant play it for to long because of the heat problem,hope there is new updates coming after this

Amazing graphics, great game, but it seems overly tough. There just seems like very little XP given for really difficult battles. You have to grind the same bad guys for a LONG time. I really want to get far, but I'm level 8 and can't take on more than 2 jellofish at a time! Also 1 bug, if you go into settings, after leaving the menu it stays dark and won't go back to the game.

Good gameplay, fun story, however I have reservations about recommending this to others. Mainly, I play at home so it's not a big issue, but please tell me you're working on a patch for the game's initial load time.

Fun game in a fun series but it's pretty buggy.

Loved the theme. Really relieved to see a dev make a change from fantasy ttrpg to sci fi. That being said, sadly not up to knights of pen and paper standards. Graphics and controls didnt feel as clear or polished. The main con for myself was the lack of char customisation. Leveling up felt almost pointless, and the skills werent that appealing especially without the optipn to level them.

This game is awesome. It has a ton of references to all things space from star wars to HHGTTG, and all the cheesy 80s rpg references as well. The controls are well done, the fight system is fun, and i enjoy that its old school style in that it makes you fivure it out for yourself.

Dont waste your money like I did. They released the game before they finished the beta testing. I'm playing on a Nexus and the overall slowdown, blank screens for minutes at a time, and overall unintuitive User Interface make this game unplayable.

Pretty disappointing. I was expecting something a bit more different from KoPP & KoPP2. This is just barely different enough to call it "not the same game." Now you get a spaceship and you can customize your DM just as you can your players. Mostly, this is just more of KoPP. I wish they'd produce more content for KoPP instead of rereleasing it with a SciFi skin. Edit: Reply appreciated but irrelevant. You're still just releasing a third version of the same game. I appreciate that you didn't make KoPP2 but it is not significantly different from KoPP. I feel for you; GoPP definitely should have been made in place of KoPP2. But the fact remains this is the third time I've bought the same car with a slightly different paint job. Still playing and loving GoPP; just a bit disappointed that it's so incredibly similar to the other two games (one of which you made).

I am a huge fan of kopp2 and so I was super excited for this. But now it's buggy and full of lag. After the most recent update the game wont load past the opening screen. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

There NEEDS to be an option to turn down effects. Space battles crawl at a snail's space on my LG Stylo 2. Would be great to disable the background animation so it's not so laggy!

Thought this game looked neat, bought it and downloaded it on a whim. Never played Knights of Pen and Paper. Best mobile game I've probably ever played (and this is a legit review). For $5 you get a full game, no ads or micro-transactions. The pixel art and music is fantastic, and the story is refreshing and funny. Galaxy of Pen and Paper doesn't shy away from reminding you that you are playing a game within another game, and I loved that. Customizing players roles and abilities to fit your personal play style is nice. If there was a single thing to complain about, it would only be that the load time for booting up the game or quitting back to the main menu takes a few seconds of quiet, nothingness happening on the screen. But once you're playing the game, it's smooth as a baby's tush (at least it was for me, playing on a Galaxy s6 Active). If you love RPGs, this is a no-brainer. Seriously just go play it already.

Best to wait a while. After grinding the game for 2/3 days I have countered a few black screens and the game restarting itself. How ever fixed when closing the game and re-opening. Story was overall enjoyable until the final mission, once defeating the main boss and completing the game, that is the end. No continuation unless you replay from your last save point (unless I've experienced a glitch 4 times). Sub quests are ok but could include more. Hope this gets updates and potential dlc
