About Minesweeper Classic fr Windows

The classic game from Windows 2000/XP.
The object is to open all safe squares in the quickest time possible. Minesweeper starts when a player touches on a square.
The first click is always safe and reveals a number or an opening surrounded by numbers. Each number tells you how many mines touch the square. You can mark a mine by putting a flag on it with the long touch.
You win by clearing all the safe squares and lose if you click on a mine. A mine counter tells you how many mines are still hidden and a time counter keeps track of your score. There are three levels of difficulty:
Beginner has 10 mines, Intermediate has 40 mines, and Expert has 99 mines.
Sometimes in Minesweeper you have to guess. A typical case is a 50/50 guess when one mine is hidden in two squares. However, there are other times when you can improve your chance of guessing correctly.

Between uncovering a square, marking a mine, and scrolling the minefield, it's too annoying using the app. Trying to long press to mark a mine results in scrolling the minefield with the slightest shift of my finger. I suggest using double swipe to scroll the minefield to make marking easier.

I had a minesweep on my former windows phone and it was awesome. With my stylus I can sweep across a square to flag it making ability to play a lot faster. I have yet to find such ability in these android versions. Very frustrating. It takes two seconds to hold the square before the flag appears. Fix to swipe and the game will be as fun as I remember. Unt then, its a waste of money and time.

Not a fan of the Facebook button, nor am I a fan of the non-retro icon, but I can understand why the icon was changed.

I prefer settings to control the time you need to hold down the finger in order to mark a mine. Practically impossible to get fast runs without this setting. However the app is solid. Doubtful that it has the same logic as the original game from windows because it behaves slightly different.

The old minesweeper I remember back in the old windows days. Very good port. People say it is too small, but there is a zoom option. Also, no ads. It is very basic, which classic games should always be. Now if I could say the same for my card games...

Absolutely love the idea but fact of the matter is that the board doesn't fit on my screen no matter how much I may have zoomed in or out for that matter. Hopefully improvements are soon to come.

Basic, nice and fun. It's basic, nicely done and fast. Exactly what such game should be. Plus it's very small (few dozen of kb). The play field should however zoom automatically to fit the screen of the phone instead of requiring manual tuning. Also, a network high scores table would be nice.
