About Blocus
Blocus is a frantic Arkanoid-like. It can also looks like a fireworks simulation !
There is a lot of visual effect and the game feel very much alive.
You can also make make your paddle shoot by catching the ball on the same side several times. And this shot can be upgraded with the experience you gain each time you play !
So, what is worth noting in this game and that you can't get from the screenshots / vid :
- You can either play an endless game with a constantly increasing difficulty or procedurally generated levels
- The paddle is divided in three part (left, that send the ball to the left, middle and right). When a ball hits the paddle, it becomes warmer. If you can get it warm enough, the paddle will shoot very powerful projectiles.
- You can upgrade your paddle (It improves the projectiles)
- When you clear a column, the ball becomes more powerful and quicker
- The particles actually have physics and will collided with the paddle or the walls

A very good game. But I don't recommend for people who get headaches easily or have epilepsy. This game is full of bright, colorful and flashing lights. Anyway, I like it a lot.

If you like brick-breaker type games, you'll love Blocus! There are sparkles, sparks, explosions, bright colors and explosive sounds and light. A wonderful feature is when you lift your finger from the screen the games slows to a crawl. Benefits: screenshots, enjoying the block breaking action, and the ability to scratch your nose or take care of a quick distraction without losing your game. One thing would make it perfect: ability to aim/fire at the last few stubborn blocks you can't seem to get at.

This game is like ping pong on steroids. My go to game. Wish you can develop more designs w the blocks. Is this possible? Yes, projectiles do become stronger as you update paddles but they require much more gems as the game progresses but the points per gem stay there same. So aside from that I still like it. Oh, I never complain about ads. They pay for the game. Pls adjust. Some should be in playboy. Have ten grandchildren that like the game but seriously? Also, ads started interrupting game.

Still seeing ads after paying $2+ to REMOVE them. Afterwards, "Remove Ads" button no longer works. I paid because the game itself is great. Without ads, that is. WITHOUT ads. 1 star with ads, 5 stars without ads. Simple. Hopefully the dev will do the right thing and fix this.

I don't play a lot of games but I do enjoy this games. No ads and appears to have no bugs at this time, just straight game play. Excellent job in producing this game.
