Case 1: Citizen Exile
Titus Africanus is to be expelled from Rome; his crime: not being a Roman citizen! Surely there has been a mistake? How can a decorated, ex-soldier not be considered a citizen? And then there’s the matter of those corpses in the street… There’s more to this case than meets the eye, Cosmo and Aquila will need to investigate in order to expose the conspiracy before it’s too late.
Case 2: School of Hard Knocks
Timon, a freedman and a schoolteacher, is accused of viciously beating his student, Lucius. The boy’s father, Rufus, wants compensation for his broken son and demands that Timon be sold back into slavery. And how does Julius Caesar, Rome’s most popular politician, fit into this? Cosmo and Aquila must take to the streets of Rome to find out the true story.
Case 3: Death by Dormouse
An old crooked merchant is poisoned at a feast. Which of the guests is guilty? Was it the slaves he mistreated, his business partner whom he cheated or his jealous wife? Cosmo must defend the slave from crucifixion, and in so doing he must put his own career on the line.

10 out of 10
I am only nine turning ten and I have already completed all three levels it was great fun although I found it hard in the courtroom
Cool Game.. I remember snippets of Roman history from my primary school days
An enjoyable exploration of the Roman Republic as investigative lawyer Cosmo Veritas. I had a great time searching out clues, talking to people and finally putting it all together in the big courtroom showdown. I’‘ve only played the first case, but it’s quickly engaging and I really wanted to see it through. [.....apparently Google has never heard of paragraphs!.........] Exploration, clues and hints are pitched at the right level for kids and reinforced by attention-getting sound effects. I’m not sure that children will actually read all those lore cards (I started to skim after a while), but the Lore Master mini-game gives an incentive to take *some* of it in. [..........................................................] My only gripes are minor and kids will probably not take much notice of them. One is the “New” indicators which aren’t consistently applied. Sometimes they still appear after you’ve systematically gone through every lore card; other times they don’t appear even though you know there’s something new. [.................................] It would also be nice to be able to revisit areas without replaying the case.[........... Thoroughly recommended!
Do you like mystery? Puzzles? How about clicking OK? Then look no further my friends, for this is the game for you!
