General Rules: The player selected to be "Seeker" then hunts the others, attempting to get close enough to tag them—touching them with a hand—while the others try to escape. A tag makes the tagged player "seeker" - the previous "seeker" is no longer the "Seeker" and the game can continues with the new “seeker”.
Scoring: PLAYTAG consists of Scored timed levels. At the end of each level a new Seeker is chosen at random from the list of current players. Each player is awarded points during throughout the game. A player loses points by being chosen as a seeker.

PLAYTAG is where the no-tech old world game play meets a 21st century augmented reality gaming approach. Our one world has become two, the physical, and the cyber. The Time has come to bridge the two worlds or risk losing our connection to the physical world as we know it. PLAYTAG will be one of the first boards in this inevitable bridge between the physical and cyber realms.
PLAYTAG is a blend of hide and seek combined with the thrill of a game of tag with a 21st century twist. PLAYTAG will be a cross platform application allowing players to enter and play from virtually any mobile phone. (Smart or dumb) The only requirement to play is that at least one player possess a smartphone running an android os 2.3 or higher. Although the application is only required to be installed on one device player, having it installed allows for an intensified game play experience.
Game Play Experience [with application installed]:
• One player logs in as the game captain; it is the captain’s job to recruit players who login as players.
• Once logged in you create your player name profile
• Once a captain has recruited enough players, they can start a game. A minimum of 2 players is required. (More players can join at any time during game play.)
• Every new physical location that is chosen offers players endless possibilities and allows for varying skill levels.
• PLAYTAG consists of timed levels. At the end of each level a new Seeker is chosen at random from the list of current players. At the beginning of each new level players are notified of the identity of the new seeker via non-visible sms messages.
• During each level a new seeker can pass off their role as seeker by physically touching or “tagging” another player. Tagging is just one of the key benefits of PLAYTAG ability to blend genres’ of game play by allowing games to advance and evolve according to its player’s action.
